Song: Whatcha Gonna Do (instrumental version)

Positive Comments: Opening with that drum and percussion instantly made me think of Prince, I’m sure that’s not new to you. Chords are pleasant, synth-bass is executed precise and tastefully, accent instruments compliment well through out also. Gives a cool reminiscent feel of late 80’s Jazz instrumentals that I always loved that were used for TV Shows. Pretty sweet!
Constructive Comments: Being that I’m a keyboardist, it feels very possible this was done all with one board, please correct me if I’m wrong. However with that being said I know it’s not always the easiest thing to adjust drum kits, it can be a hassle or annoying to go in to each kit and adjust only 1 instrument in the kit, this is something that might help the song a bit. Bringing that clap/slap down a couple nods or turning the kick up a tad and pulling back the drum track so you still have the punch but the percussion sounds don’t stick out so much. Other than that I I’d like to here maybe another change in the song, something with a slight diversion of the chords added in there before going back to the main drive, but I genuinely LOVED this concept! Reminded me of my own work!
