Positive Comments: An amusing story song of a youthful summer camp kept simple. The perspective is interesting. It is quite quirky, so I’m tempted to think that this was the main aim of the presentation. The recording is clean overall, and the mix and production is good. The more I play it, the more I like it. “that’s pretty much all.”

Constructive Comments: I’m confused as to whether the vocal timing “features” and the stuttered guitar work was deliberate to add to the quirk factor. For me, it was quirk factor 8. That’s good. It took me a cou[le of plays to decide I liked it.

Song: HOW DID YOU KNOW?

Positive Comments: A well-recorded piece with some quirky and interesting features. it has an adventurous approach, daring to be different in some respects. I played it a few times and it seemed to grow on me. It features some well-played instruments and develops well along the way. This is a very well produced performance. I like the way the female and male vocal backing is alternated, adding further interest.

Constructive Comments: The quirky low pitched vibrato guitar feature is a little too prominent in the mix. The female vocals are a bit low in the mix, but that’s a marginal comment at best. The melody could be a bit little stronger in a couple places, but overall it’s nice and simple.
