Positive Comments: Cool vibe…..” the fish are biting”. it’s a cross between blue grass and funk. I would listen to this while fishing, for sure

Constructive Comments: I would bring up the drums. the vibe is in your face and thats where the drums need to be. Drive the kick..like an EDM tune…… Do that and you will have all kinds of success in advertising.. Great song

Positive Comments: The idea is great and good arrangement, Reminds of a Ray Stevens type song.

Constructive Comments: There seems to be a lot of highs in the mix. Maybe overcome that with bringing more punch to the bottom end ie bass and drums……Todays mixes are hot on the kick and there is a lot of use for drone subs.Other than, this is a really good song….. Keep singing and playing, in other words, don’t ever stop.

Positive Comments: Good lyrics and enjoyable story, good vocal, good arrangement and instrumentation. Nice catchy chorus. I enjoyed listening. Well done!

Constructive Comments: I would have put a harmony on the bridge to the choruses, but that’s just me. Drums a little overpowering, but not much else to recommend from here. Good overall mix.

Positive Comments: Really loved the intro w guitar riff then the nice keyboard coming in. Also liked the outro and nice change with 45 seconds left in song. Is a happy, uplifting rock song

Constructive Comments: I am not versed on production at all but it sounded like other than the guitar the other instruments were synthetic or computer driven? I would have loved authentic full scale production with live players of those instruments. But I really enjoyed the notes, rhythm and tempo of what they were playing.

Positive Comments: Good vocals. This is reminds me of the old “Rat Pack” songs of Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. and a little Michael Buble, too! Smooth, luscious vocals. The lyrics and melody are spot on.

Constructive Comments: The only suggestion I can offer is that maybe you could get the recording mixed and mastered. There is an overall “compressed” quality to the recording. I hope you receive this review in the spirit it’s offered. Best of luck to you! Cheers!

Constructive Comments: The hook (title of the song) could be a bit stronger it doesn’t become obvious until the end of the song. Otherwise, I have ZERO suggestions! It’s a really good song! I hope you receive this review in the spirit it’s offered. Best of luck to you! Cheers!

Positive Comments: The guitar work is beautiful! Is that a little Joe Satriani in there? Nice! The arrangement is full and lush sounding. It’s also a very clean recording. Lovely song.

Constructive Comments: With an instrumental I think it’s almost required to have live drums. Especially when the guitar playing is so lovely. The non-live drums take away from an otherwise beautiful song. I hope you receive this review in the spirit is was offered. Best of luck to you! Cheers!

Positive Comments: Good vocals. Nicely recorded. Reminds me a little of Richard Marks. I could clearly hear the melody, hook, beat, and instrumentation. The recording is a solid demo.

Constructive Comments: There seems to be a disconnect in the lyrics. Does the singer really want things the way they were? It seems that since he’s LOOKING for a reason to take her back, maybe he doesn’t really want things the way they were. The line about having to hide how he really feels wasn’t explained anywhere in the song. I think if you tighten up the lyrics just a bit, it might be clearer. Thanks for sharing. I hope you receive this review in the spirit it was offered. Best of luck to you! Cheers!

Positive Comments: It’s like the band, Chicago mashed with Morcheeba and, I know it’s going to sound crazy, but there’s a splash of 1970s Elvis in there, too! Maybe it’s the bass. I like the funky sound. I really like the attitude of the singer! There’s a great emotion and confidence coming through! This song REQUIRES that! It delivers!

Constructive Comments: The only constructive criticism I have is the mix. Let a mix master loose on this and see what comes out of it. There is SO much potential here. Thanks for sharing! I hope you receive this review in the spirit it’s offered. Best of luck to you! Cheers!
