Positive Comments: You can play guitar and I am sure it sounded better live then it did recorded.

Constructive Comments: If you are going to make a track that is just you jamming on a guitar you need to put more care into the quality of your recording. The whole thing sounded far off and distant and the reverb of the amp was not translated by your recording method and should have been turned down and rerecorded.Did you listen to this before you posted it? Did you think the recording sounded anything like the live version? Did you ask yourself why am I posting a rough recording of what is pretty much me just jamming? And for an instrumental, you gave no thought to the ending, you just stopped playing which makes me feel like I put more effort into giving this review then you did in giving me this recording.

Positive Comments: Listening to the introduction I was preparing for the worst, so I was very surprised by how much I liked the song. Had a good flow and rhythm and didn’t get clunky or lyrically cliche.

Constructive Comments: The intro is a real problem for me. Listening to it, I said to myself, “oh no, they aren’t doing a cover of Crocodile Rock are they?”. So I think you really need to scrap the intro and do just about anything else because that is a bad thing when someone hears your song and immediately thinks of someone else’s song.Other then that the recording sounded a little off to me. It was pretty well balanced among the instruments and vocals, but it was just lacking. Nothing sounded crisp to me. Nothing was really delivering the punch it should, and everything felt a little far off to me. Maybe some minor tweaks to the mix might be worth considering.

Positive Comments: This is beyond me. This did not appeal to me in any way, but at same time most compositions like this would get the same reaction. I just don’t get it and tried my best to give you fair scores even though I know I don’t get it.

Constructive Comments: I thought the first 32 seconds and the last 25 seconds were worthless to the composition, and there was at least 10 seconds of dead air at the end of the recording.

Positive Comments: I liked this song probably better then my ratings suggest, and that has a lot to do with what I perceive as flaws. But overall I enjoyed the lyrics, they were thoughtfully crafted, not repetitive and well performed vocally.

Constructive Comments: I didn’t like any decision you made with your percussion track. I thought it held the song back instead of bolstering it. I think simpler and more traditional would have been better for this song, or do without it altogether and just make it an acoustic song. I didn’t see that part doing enough to make this an electro-pop song, and didn’t see them adding real value to the track.I think what hurt you more then that was how the guitar was recorded and mixed. I was really trying to focus in on that a little bit because it was getting lost at times. It was too low and out of balance with the rest of the track, which is a shame because where I could focus on it I thought it had a good melody that was adding to the song and vocals. I also felt like part of the problem was it had too much reverb added to it. There are moments where I felt like it kind of loses the melody into an lamost white noise and you lose the notes. That might be why it was so low in the mix too, because when you start adding reverb it lessens the overall strength of that sound. So you might want to tinker with that.I did really like the song, a few minor adjustments and it would be a top rated song for me across the board.

Positive Comments: I liked the overall feel of the song, was pretty cohesive and had a definite idea of what type of movies it should be applied to.

Constructive Comments: I did not like the weird sound that ran through the whole track, kind of sounded like a wet squeak toy. It didn’t add anything to the track for me. I also was not a huge fan of the screeching guitar, felt very out of place. I think the idea that you needed to add something so that the track was not overly repetitive was a good thought, just not sure the guitar was the right answer.
