Positive Comments: I did like the overall sound of the music and the vocals. was a very cohesive whole.

Constructive Comments: the intro was a little too similar to nirvana for my tastes, but you don’t dwell on it which was good. For me the main issue was the lyrics. The vocals were good, but the lyrics were just bad. They were extremely cliche, it was just one cliche after another it seemed like. Now sure other musicians do that too, katy perry’s “roar” comes to mind as one cliche after another. But then again she is selling music to brain dead teenage girls and also has a body that makes men not care what she is singing. I am going to assume you don’t look like katy perry and aren’t playing bar mitzvah’s on the weekends, so maybe a little more thought into your lyrics instead of taking the easy way out would be a good thing. And I understand if you think I am just being some random jerk, but I want you to understand. I do like your sound, I do like your vocals, it would just be nice if there was a little more substance behind it.

Positive Comments: I liked the music, the lyrics, and the vocals, but unfortunately I think this is one of those situations where I think the individual parts are better then the whole.

Constructive Comments: While I liked the three main components as I said in the positive comment section, I did not think they went well together. The music was good and I liked the melody, but I didn’t think it had any relationship to the lyrics and I didn’t think it complimented the sound and tone of the vocals. it’s a shame, I liked all the different parts, but when they came together they just lacked unity and cohesion.Maybe changing the tone of the guitar would change that for me. With the high pitch of the vocals, may I suggest listening to some “Blondie” songs to get some inspiration as to what guitar sounds best go with vocals in that high range. I am sure there are some other good female high pitched vocalists that you could give a listen to for inspiration on how best to accompany your sound, but “Blondie” was the only one I could think of off the top of my head.Good luck, you have a lot of potential.

Positive Comments: I wish there was a way for me to keep from having to review your music. You just make the same mistakes over and over again and I am tired of telling you because you don’t want to hear it. I have skipped this song so many times and it keeps coming up over and over again, so I just made everything (N/A) so my ratings don’t apply to you. That is my solution, blank review with (N/A) scores.

Constructive Comments: Everything I said to you before that you didn’t want to hear.

Positive Comments: This is not a pop song, and with the sound of your vocals you should not write pop songs, you need to make everything you write and perform a country song. Your sound would translate better into that genre.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics were pretty good. They do have moments when they get a bit cliche and predictable, but the majority were pretty solid.

Positive Comments: I think there is a good song in there, because I think you have a pretty decent 3 minute song in there that you have sadly stretched to 6:06

Constructive Comments: You really need to learn to edit yourself. You have a hundred ideas crammed in there which robs the song of continuity. And just because you have a hundred ideas does not mean they are all good ones. The wees at the beginning and ending are not good and need to be cut. Sounds like smurfs having a party. If you just got rid of those two parts you would be down to about 4:40. I liked about two-thirds of the lyrics, so I suggest making some cuts to further cut the run time. the last 2 minutes before the wees kick in again are just repeats of previous lyrics maybe just cutting the repeat would be an easier way. You really need to learn to edit yourself. It is a hard thing to do, it is a hard thing to be told you need to do, but I am telling you emphatically that you need to learn that skill. This is a hot mess when I feel fairly confident that there is a good song in there, and that is a shame.

Song: A Slap on the Wrist /Blues Rock

Positive Comments: You can play guitar and I am sure it sounded better live then it did recorded.

Constructive Comments: If you are going to make a track that is just you jamming on a guitar you need to put more care into the quality of your recording. The whole thing sounded far off and distant and the reverb of the amp was not translated by your recording method and should have been turned down and rerecorded.Did you listen to this before you posted it? Did you think the recording sounded anything like the live version? Did you ask yourself why am I posting a rough recording of what is pretty much me just jamming? And for an instrumental, you gave no thought to the ending, you just stopped playing which makes me feel like I put more effort into giving this review then you did in giving me this recording.
