Constructive Comments: Very cool sounds, takes me back to the 80’s for sure. I think I would leave out the solo sound effect and instead fill it with drums – best wishes!

Positive Comments: Really enjoyed the upbeat bounce of this song. The fiddle is a nice touch, and really adds to the arrangement. Very nice voices both male and female. Track is solid, and players are well locked in time. I appreciate the groove of the congas behind this track, adds a nice layer to the instrumentation. Great acoustic guitar tone!!

Constructive Comments: Constructively I don’t have a whole lot. Lyrically, I like much of what you have to say about the love between the 2 people, but I don’t know that I really “get” the focus of the song. It’s a great love song, but I don’t see anything deeper thematically. It just feels like a jumble of love lyrics. I don’t personally track with the “11 to 1” line at the end. I’ve listened through a few time trying to figure that one out…maybe it’s something personal for the song recipient? Nothing wrong with that, it just doesn’t allow the rest of us to be in on the secret…which is the mark of a legendary love song. Definitely enjoyed the listen though!

Positive Comments: Wow! This is just a fantastic tune. Right off the bat this is reminiscent of Cody Jinks, maybe Jamey Johnson. Just good solid writing, and a memorable melody. Excellent recording and instrumentation. GREAT voice! I’d throw this on my red dirt/alt country playlist immediately alongside Reckless Kelly and Cory Morrow and Stoney Larue. Great stuff, man.

Constructive Comments: I don’t know that I have a whole lot constructively. The only real things that I noticed had to do with the melody. The ends of your verses feel like they want to go up instead of down melodically. It feels a little disconnected from the chorus, I want to hear it build up in to the chorus…it feels a little too final and resolved, and doesn’t leave you waiting for the chorus. I would say on “lawyers papers to file” go up with your melody and build intensity into your hook. otherwise…so good.

Positive Comments: Thoroughly enjoyed listening through this tune! IT grooves like crazy. I like the shift just after 3:10 where the layered instrumentation changes timbre. This could easily find a place among popular EDM. It’s catchy in it’s musical progression, and a perfect rhythm/tempo for club dance. This reminds me a little bit of sandstorm by darude. Great work!

Constructive Comments: Not a terrible amount constructively, I think the overall eq of the recording is a little heavy on the low mids, and midrange, and light on the extreme lows and high range. It just feels a tad flat. I think some attention to the mix, cleaning up battling frequencies between the synth and bass, and a master will make this tune explode. It’s useable as is, but I think it could be that much better!

Positive Comments: I really enjoyed the feel of this song. It has a great alt-country vibe to it reminiscent of the red dirt country scene. This song would fit right in line with what I hear from Mickey and the Motorcars and Reckless Kelly, but reminds me especially of Jay Farrar and Son Volt from back in the 90’s. I could see this song being updated and picked up for sure.

Constructive Comments: The most of what I have to say constrictively has to do with the recording and performance. The playing is pretty choppy, and the vocals are pitchy in spots. The guitar tone feels a little bit electronic, and the overall recording feels rough and unpolished. I think it works perfectly well as a demo to pitch to another artist, and maybe thats the idea. But I just don’t see this being picked up as an as-is recording. I’m excited to see what comes of the song itself, though! I enjoyed listening,
