Positive Comments: Love the nice, smooth easy flowing intro–just puts you into a great frame of mind. Except,the song is about heartbreak. The playing, recording and arrangement are very good. Not easy to get such a flowing groove. Memorable hook. Good vocal arrangement on chorus.

Constructive Comments: As noted above, the music is a bit happy for cowboy heartbreak song. It is your song, but you might consider changing the lyrics and theme to something more upbeat–I love the music. Then, create different music for these lyrics. I know if someone gave me that suggestion, I’d likely not do it, but thought I’d bring it up. I think the conflict lyrics to music hurts the market potential a bit.

Positive Comments: Love the groove and swing of this tune. Does remind me a bit of the old “El Paso” tune with the guitar fills. Which I like. The playing is good and solid. I like the theme, easy to grab onto and stays with you. Bright and upbeat tune.

Constructive Comments: My main concern is the vocal. This might be a songwriter doing a demo, so understandable. Could be more solid in the mix and have more energy. I would suggest trying the vocal plugin from Waves called CLA Vocals. Really brings out a vocal.

Constructive Comments: I think the song is way too long and it’s very hard to understand the vocals, need to be cut down to 3 minutes – I would also add drums, bass guitar and redo the vocals – best wishes!
