Song: Whenever A Cowboys Heart Breaks / Country
Reviewer: Michael Cregan
Positive Comments: Love the nice, smooth easy flowing intro–just puts you into a great frame of mind. Except, the song is about heartbreak. The playing, recording and arrangement are very good. Not easy to get such a flowing groove. Memorable hook. Good vocal arrangement on chorus.
Constructive Comments: As noted above, the music is a bit happy for cowboy heartbreak song. It is your song, but you might consider changing the lyrics and theme to something more upbeat–I love the music. Then, create different music for these lyrics. I know if someone gave me that suggestion, I’d likely not do it, but thought I’d bring it up. I think the conflict lyrics to music hurts the market potential a bit.
