Positive Comments: I like your guitar sound very much, the vocals are very clear and profound. The lyrics are contemporary and original. The chorus guitar riff is very pleasant, catchy and memorable. My highest score goes to your voice. Good luck with your music.

Constructive Comments: The recording seems like a live performance but the quality is too low. In particular there is a background noise which detracts from the song. We use a fantastic plugin named z-noise: try it! I really like the guitar arpeggio but it would work better if only used in part of the song for better effect. I suggest more rhythm in the second part of the song. Without this noise the song would improve considerably. I love it.

Constructive Comments: although the solo piano was very effective during the whole tune, it might have been nice to introduce an ensemble maybe after the first chorus? Thats just one mans opinion…

Positive Comments: So, I just woke up after a good 8 hours of hobbit rest. I’m still in a groggy state and my quad-latte hasn’t kicked in yet. Sitting here in a state of blah… I press the big honkin’ play button on my hobbiton abacus to listen to some Ambient music here on BroadJam – and this track I am listening to is now taking my groggy-self to … oh, I dunno … Proxima B perhaps? This is a mysterious electronic ambient piece perfect for space visuals or great wonderful hobbiton media.

Constructive Comments: I have a big problem with this mostly it’s the beginning. This is ambient genre, yet the composition does not ease into the piece to let the listener get comfortable with the new sound environment being presented. After listening to this a second time I had the notion that there was no real point to what I just heard. I understand this could be used in TV for backing as a standalone musical piece – I think more should be put into the composition. It is enticing to a point, but the track just doesn’t seem to provoke me. Please remember, until now, we have never heard this and we do not know the artist or how this was constructed. I think the mixing on this could be improved to fill the stereo sund field for the listener. We hope you have a great day today!

Positive Comments: Here’s a song with a very original topic. Basically the artist is asking for drugs to ease the pain of life, stomach, head, depression. It is a dark song, but I am sure that is what the artist intended. Starting off with a heartbeat percussion was a creative idea. Electric guitar and an unsettling ambiance characterize the introduction. This would be a great commercial for painkillers. Would probably work in a movie about a person addicted to painkillers.

Constructive Comments: Some of the lyrics are a bit muddy. Your vocal style is a bit unsettling, but again, I think that was your point. I don’t think that this song should be played for children…it ought to have a parental advisory on it.

Positive Comments: This is an extremely well-thought out, beautifully crafted song. The performance is flawless the lyrics original and the production lovely. Not enough good things to say about it. It combines nature and love and adding that to the beautiful state of NC makes it a sure winner. Your word pictures are excellent, from the crickets rubbing their legs together, to the polished boots, pressed shirt and love note words in your pocket…fantastic lyric writing. Easy-going feel, could be folk or country…either way, I love it and wish you the best with this fantastic tune!

Constructive Comments: I’d love to hear a more organic folkier version of this tune with less harmonies and more of an “outdoorsy” organic/acoustic feel, but that’s just a personal thought. By the way I loved your bridge and the placement of it in the song…it really works. My guess is that you are a very experienced songwriter. Mrs. Kate in FL
