Positive Comments: This is an extremely well-thought out, beautifully crafted song. The performance is flawless the lyrics original and the production lovely. Not enough good things to say about it. It combines nature and love and adding that to the beautiful state of NC makes it a sure winner. Your word pictures are excellent, from the crickets rubbing their legs together, to the polished boots, pressed shirt and love note words in your pocket…fantastic lyric writing. Easy-going feel, could be folk or country…either way, I love it and wish you the best with this fantastic tune!
Constructive Comments: I’d love to hear a more organic folkier version of this tune with less harmonies and more of an “outdoorsy” organic/acoustic feel, but that’s just a personal thought. By the way I loved your bridge and the placement of it in the song…it really works. My guess is that you are a very experienced songwriter. Mrs. Kate in FL
