Positive Comments: I like the rusty-bucket quality of this track! The voice is lively and rugged, the harmonica is rough (in a good way) and well-played. The percussion sounds primitive and suits the song well.

Constructive Comments: The rhythm of the guitar is not alway in sync with the percussion (particularly during the chorus). This actually works okay with the rough-and-tumble nature of the song, but I would make that one tweak.

Positive Comments: Good idea for a positive feeling, background bed.The hook is good. The bells are nice. Drum beat is adequate.

Constructive Comments: Not sure about the muffled, sweeping beat at the beginning. Probably would be better without it. I’d work on developing more variety in the arrangement. I felt like the hook was going to repeat itself forever. Also, come up with a better ending. Good work, though. Good luck!

Positive Comments: Liked it, had a nice variety of textures. Wavy hook is compelling. I especially liked what was going on during the quieter moments.

Constructive Comments: I felt like the piece wanted to be a bit more Zimmer-esque, with the hits being more explosive. The instruments seemed to crowd them when it was their time to come out. Maybe it’s how everything’s panned, or you need to drop the volumes of the other instruments momentarily, or the hits need a boost of EQ at higher frequencies so they can be more prominent. Also, “they” always ask for “buttoned up” endings. Give them what they want. Great work. Good luck!

Constructive Comments: The beat is consistent, but it’s somewhat cacophonic and makes for a bit of a challenging listen. If the guitar and beat were better aligned, I think it would be really funky and cool!
