Positive Comments: This is a very sacred song. I felt it from the first few moments of listening to the last notes. It is the sweetest song of grief and love lost (by death) that I have ever heard. It wasn’t just the great lyrics, but the way they were so poignantly sung…the song communicates that loss without bitterness. I love this line: Though I cannot hold your hand, your touch is everywhere. I think this is a song that I would have someone sing at my husband’s funeral if he precedes me in death. (Don’t even want to go there). But this was just 100% beautiful. Thank you for writing it, recording it and sharing it. I hope it is a comfort to many!

Constructive Comments: By the way, the instrumentation was nice, too. Totally suited the song. I am so glad I got the chance to hear and review your song! Mrs. Kate

Positive Comments: Here’s an instrumental piece suitable for a western movie. The beat reminds me of the horses running. I hear mystery and adventure. Like the touch of the jews harp. The drum beat reminds me of military/cavalry. Some very interesting sounds are included in this piece.

Constructive Comments: Seems like this work could benefit from a little more unity. Also the ending…there is no ending. Just sounds like a cut off. You might want to check it and possibly re-upload.

Positive Comments: Really cool vibe to this instrumental. The lead guitar playing is really solid. It’s not overplayed and captures the emotion of the song perfectly. The drums sound really good too, there’s some good fills throughout. The Organ is always a welcome addition to any arrangement. It could probably have a place in TV and film if not for a few minor things.

Constructive Comments: The Rhythm guitar through mostly the later half of the song sounded out of tune. The song sounds self produced a little too, like the recording quality is quite there. I also found myself wanting some kind of vocals on song with the atmosphere that this one has. Aside from the out of tune guitar you have a really solid track and should keep working on music!

Positive Comments: I like the song performance in general. It sounds like it would have a good drive to it in a live setting. The lyrics are pretty good. The vocalist has a good voice too. I like how the track starts too with the synth leading into the rest of the instruments and where the vocals come in. Really cool vibe to this song.

Constructive Comments: This is a great song that’s poorly recorded. It sounds self recorded or it was recorded in a studio that doesn’t know how to mix/record. If you took this song to professional studio they would be able to get you a really solid recording of this song. Currently, the drums and bass don’t really have any punch, and the vocals feel detached from the music. A good studio will also try to help make the songs sound more full when the song starts to pick up the energy.

Positive Comments: When this song kicked in I was ready to head bang! Great start to the song. Instrument performances are pretty solid across the board, I like the percussive sounds used. It sounds almost industrial in spots. The guitar solos sound fun. There a lot of great playing on display here. This is great music to hear when you go out to bar and want to relax.

Constructive Comments: I found myself hoping there would be vocals on this particular track. Probably because the song goes through some changes that a lot of instrumental tracks don’t do. Most of the time these songs just have a couple parts to it but the mood doesn’t really change, and when it did in this one it’s just kind of hard to follow the emotive feeling of the track without vocals to guide you.

Positive Comments: Really great cover here, solid recording, great performances all around. This could probably get some TV and Film placements if they don’t want to pay for the original version. It’s got a nice vibe to it and I think fans of the original would appreciate this version a lot. Not much else to say about this one, keep up the good work.

Constructive Comments: I would say one negative is, style-wise, it’s pretty similar to the original. There’s some different elements, but I often feel like if you’re going to record a cover, it should have a whole different feeling to it, you take something that’s outside of your box, but put it in your box. That usually grabs people’s attention more. I play in a cover band so I appreciate a good cover, but I’ve found it when you change things up a bit that people are more excited and surprised by what you are doing.
