Song: I’m Yours, All Alone
Reviewer: Tony Tersmette
Positive Comments: Nice tonal contrasts between instruments which makes it interesting early in the piece. … A short work… Hmm…? a ‘Strawberry Fields’ like conclusion!
Constructive Comments: Got a sense that this piece isn’t completed or fully developed yet. The block of measures 0:15 to 0:50ish are very promising indeed, but then I feel there needs to be a stronger follow-up. Keep on writing!

Constructive Comments: Suggestion? Hmmm… Keep on experimenting… Keep writing… Keep an eye out(er, rather, an ear out) for still more melodic bits that ensnare the listener with attention to their placement with respect to the piece’s overall structure.

Positive Comments: It’s all (mostly) about the bass. Keyboard nice light dreamy patch. Change at 1:12 is nice.
Constructive Comments: Somewhat repetitive. A bit more variation earlier on would make this more engaging. But the basic sounds and skills are there.

Positive Comments: Diggin’ this. Modern. Accessible. Great lines. Nice development. Artist knows their craft.
Constructive Comments: Maybe add some discreet percussion colorations and/or punctuation here and there to enhance the rhythm that the horns know? BUT, very nice overall!

Song: The Three Sisters (Jazz- Jazz Pop, Light Jazz )
Reviewer: Tony Tersmette
Positive Comments: Peppy, lively beat. Engaging piano. Popping bass line keeps things on target and moving. Synth lines OK. Good arrangement, no disappointment. Melodious.
Constructive Comments: Perhaps a bit more warmth in synth lines — horn patches in particular, might be desirable to evoke realism, but overall not badly done. A lot of good stuff here for sure, I like this track.

Broadjam Artist: Warren Hein
Song: Dead Man Walking (extended vocal)
Reviewer: Kate Carpenter
Positive Comments: Here’s a lyrically strong song about a man who lost his “houdini” of a girlfriend…she just disappeared and he can’t even ask her for forgiveness. “Evicted without trial”. This lyric writer gets 5 stars for originality. Definitely a song that expresses emotions of the love-lorn/love lost creatively.
Constructive Comments: Admittedly, I wasn’t really fond of the organ in the intro. I think I would have been satisfied with just guitar, but it’s your call, not mine, ha ha. If this isn’t Warren Hein, I’m a monkey’s aunt.

Positive Comments: If I could give this song 10 stars on instrumentation, that’s just what I would do. You get a bunch of talented players like this together and magic happens! It’s a one verse song as far as lyrics go, but the band carries the theme with skill and joyful playing. Honestly, I could listen to this kind of music for hours. Bravo for the fiddle, mandolin, guitars and everyone else who contributed to this amazing track.
Constructive Comments: Keep the great music coming! I’m a fan!
