Broadjam Artist: Nigel Barrett
Song: Ascending

Reviewer: Bhaskar_The_Maximalist

Positive Comments: Gentle and soothing melodies and appropriate choice of instrument tones. Don’t know what that was with the first melody (a synthesized pipe?), but it works really well to set the mood. It’s a good commercial length.

Constructive Comments: The guitar tone could use some more work, I think.I miss a build-up and a strong ending to the piece, something that will make me want to go back to the start.

Reviewer: Bhaskar_The_Maximalist

Positive Comments: The track started off brilliantly! The horns come in at good spots to make the soundscape brighter, so that’s well done!

Constructive Comments: Because of the high expectations set by the first 5 seconds, the rest seems like a bit of a let-down, to be honest. May I suggest you use the beginning to develop into a separate high-intensify song of chaos, and use the rest of the song as a separate casual song. Both have their separate markets!

Positive Comments: This song has an infectious groove… Super cool retro synth bass with the muted 16th note guitqrs sets up the intro and the whole thing grooves after that. Fun listen!
