Constructive Comments: I think you could add more flare, vocally… so this differs more from the original. John Mayer does a good job of this.. check out his cover of free falling

Positive Comments: You have a beautiful voice, and the instrumentation is gorgeous.

Constructive Comments: The intro is very long and makes it seem like this song might just be instrumental, and you don’t get to your hook until about 2:30, at which point you would have already lost the listener’s attention because they’re wondering what this song is even about. And the breaks in the lyrics are a bit awkward… for instance, “I stopped leaving” sounded like a complete sentence, the way you sang it… and I thought, “what the heck does that mean? Stopped leaving who/what?” You’ve got the talent, instrumentally and vocally, to be successful…I just think I’d restructure the song

Reviewer: SRJ

Positive Comments: A nice arrangement with good use of panning so that the instruments and voices are distinctive.

Constructive Comments: This definitely does not fit within the electronic experimental genre – it has more of a ballad feeling with rock-like vocals. The song could have a bit more structure so that there are clear distinctions between verse/pre-chorus/chorus…

Song: The Grace of God (instrumental)

Reviewer: John Walradt

Positive Comments: What if just four notes is the basis for your tune? If they are hooky and beautiful beyond belief, you make them your motif and run with it! That is what this memorable tune is all about and you just can’t get enough of it…it just stays in your head. The instruments sparkles like the sun on the sea and the tune carries gently over waves. There’s a small section that takes the motif into minor notes that are like a distant memory. Mostly keyboards with a simple beat and echoing ensemble, this melody is beautifully arranged. But getting down to that lovely four note motif, this tune can’t possibly go wrong!

Constructive Comments: No need to change this instrumental in any way.

Positive Comments: Excellent guitar tracks! The lyric phrasing is very good. A real up-beat song. ‘Well constructed piece.

Constructive Comments: The ambient background hiss is something I struggle with, because I too record layers and each layer contributes a little more hiss. I have not had a “denoiser” program used on any of my tunes perhaps I should give it a try(?).Other than that, no constructive comments.

Positive Comments: ‘Really liked the guitar – piano interplay it provided a fresh flavor for this well known song. The instrumental mix is very good. The voice quality is also very good.

Constructive Comments: My only constructive comment is that, to my ear, there was a little too much vocal volume. I wanted to hear the singer’s clear and strong vocals mixed/blended better with the excellent instrumental accompaniment.
