Constructive Comments: I wouldn’t classify this as pop…because this style of music isn’t what is most popular right now – see playlists like “Today’s Hits” on streaming services, for reference. The arrangement is pretty country, to me, so I’d reclassify it…and be sure to pitch to vintage recording opportunities! Lyrically…I think you could be more specific. Given an example of something that was mysterious that no longer is…is it the feel of her hand in your hand, the way she snores in her sleep, how she looks when she cries? Back in the days songs are very common, so I think you could rework your lyrics a bit to make yours more original.

Positive Comments: I really like the intro…that instrumental arrangement is very cool.

Constructive Comments: The lyrics seem a bit disjointed…what is the key point of the song? Who are you coming for? It seems like verse one is about a person, and verse 2 is about a piano, and that you should pick on of those two and make the whole song about one of them. It also seems like you switch the hook from “look out” to “play on” in verse 2, when your hook should really be consistent through the whole song.

Constructive Comments: I would increase the volume on the vocal and decrease the filter on it…it’s tough to make out the lyrics with so much filter applied to the lead vocal. The lyrics also don’t seem to really say much…but I think that’s on purpose!
