Positive Comments: Like the overall vibe, moves well, lyrics and music reminds me allot of The Corey’s here on Broadjam. I like the instrumentation choices and placement. The vocal is good enough to pitch the song for sure, but I’d like to here a slightly stronger vocal. But overall well done.

Constructive Comments: not much, would like the story to develop a bit earlier about leaving, etc. the lyrics don’t tell a “country” style of story, which MAY hurt sales potential, but it DOES have potential.

Positive Comments: honest lyrics and vocal. like the choice of instruments and the playing is good. nice vocal harmony, and story of “the road” for musicians/bands…reminds me a tad of Bruce!

Constructive Comments: I would like to hear more of a true chorus and stronger hook line/s. After listening I wasn’t sure of the title…Nice live sounding work overall though. All the best.

Positive Comments: Bass is great and the vocal delivery is very good. Song trucks along nicely and the harmonies are cool.

Constructive Comments: The recording seems to be clipping. There is some buzzing coming through and the sound is a bit too cold a bright. Personally would have liked a bit more warmth to the overall sound. Minor criticism in the big scheme of things.

Positive Comments: Digging the mysterious vibe here. You managed to make the track feel much longer with super drawn out fade ins/outs. Specifically the out. There is a feeling of air and weight in your production style. Air for texture and the weight comes from the pacing. Very engaging!

Constructive Comments: I don’t feel there’s anything terribly unique about this track. It isn’t bad, it’s actually rather decent. I just am not hearing whoever “you” are in it. The same can apply to the one song I uploaded here haha. However I am a firm believer if you’re going to cash in on an existing sound you’ve got to produce at the level of it, and I just am not hearing something that could be on the radio or in a film, and considering what site this is, I feel that’s very important for uploads here, rather than Spotify.

Positive Comments: The intro is my favorite part. Was prepared for a more melodic video game sound. Especially for the track length. Catchy melodies, fun sound.

Constructive Comments: Way too long. Way, way too long. This track could be cut to under 3 mins and convey the same message. Maybe it’s an extended remix, if not, worth noting. The vocals are just…not there, I’m sorry. Not everyone is meant to voice their own work. Ask yourself if it makes sense to hear your work next to a top 40 artist, much of mine is not. Accept your strengths and faults, there’s no shame in not doing vocals. Avicii didn’t! This sounds very outdated. I feel like it’s got an outdated production style and perspective. Blinding Lights by the Weeknd has 80’s inspired production but with a clearly modern twist. Just my thoughts.

Positive Comments: Finally! A song under 4mins. Bravo. Starts right away, flows nicely. Has distinct sections. Wonderfully structured. Great energy. Wonderful use of existing sections by removing some parts and bringing them back in. It flows so well! Good work!

Constructive Comments: Sounds…outdated. Not in a nostalgic way, like, you’re using older software of production methods. Be mindful of making music that inspired you, instead of making new things now. If I heard this was in 2005 it would make sense, that can be cool, but, you’ve slotted yourself in a niche market, and on a site such as this you need to appeal to as many as possible for placement opportunity. If this was Spotify I’d give a solid 4/5 for everything, but for BroadJam, I feel you need to do some thinking about what async licencing is vs simply making cool music.

Positive Comments: Very effective use of panning! Big, fill, spread out mix. It felt a little long and repetitive but with effective mixing, you helped fill in the gaps of time developing to the next section. There’s some sort of fluttering Metalic precision in the first half– absolutely love it. That’s a sample, if made on your own I’d considering putting up for purchase, really great work! Reminds of a lot of industrial techno, or like Rob Zombie in the late 90’s / the early 2000s. Pretty dope!

Constructive Comments: I see this so often– you have to reach a listener within the first few seconds. 20 seconds of an intro is just…too much. This isn’t Spotify, if you pitch a track, get to the point asap. Considering uploading shorter remixed tracks here. Many providers do not like things that long. The song is good but it feels like there are several sections, several mins long that are just looped, before getting to the next one. Tighten up your composition. Let the song always move forward. I felt like I was waiting several times. Overall a wonderful vibe and solid premise, but, in my opinion, not ready.

Positive Comments: Reminds me of NIN, which is one of my all-time favorite groups. The airy pads, give off an industrial vibe, and almost film score atomosphere. Then when the percussive gritty synths come in, it has a real blade runner vibe– do you compose for video games? If not please consider it!

Constructive Comments: Way too long an intro bud, way, way too long. You need to set the tone within the first few seconds, providers here most likely skip on this one a lot and this is why. For how short the track, it doesn’t even pick up until over a minute, and it’s only a few mins in total. I wouldn’t say it’s bad, but if you’re trying to compete for placement opportunities I feel there’s some work that needs to be done. Just my opinion, not a universal truth. Keep up the good work!
