Positive Comments: I’ve always enjoyed this style for so many reasons, weather West Coast Dance Club feel or any kind of party atmosphere that suggests futuristic era. Some parts of the vocalist make me think of Madonna, but then it changes to its own identity. I like the changes, bass line dropout, back inconstant driving groove non-stop, sweeping effects etc. It has potential.

Constructive Comments: I wish I could understand the lyrics better on some parts, i replayed the track a couple times and still couldn’t make out a couple. I mostly got “I just can’t stop what I’m doin!” I might play around with some other vocal processing to bring out the lyrics a tad more. The only other thing I was disappointed in was I kept waiting for the production to drop in with even MORE punch by the end to give it that extra gear I kept anticipating but never came. However I still hear a lot of potential with the whole track.

Positive Comments: First thoughts were that it reminded me of something the band Yello would release. Liked the interesting sound samples in the mix. Like that. Also liked the build up. Could hear this in a dark seedy underground club (if you know what I mean). Nice variation throughout. some great sounds in there akin to the Art of Noise’s The Seduction of Claude Debussy – check that album out if you are unfamiliar with it. I think you’ll love it.

Positive Comments: Reminded me in many ways of something David Birne of Talking Heads would put out. Shame there’s no reggae section on here ‘cos for me this is very much inspired by the Reggae genre.

Constructive Comments: For me the panning is really not working – different harmonies in different ears (I review using headphones) is a real imbalance. Better panning and it would be sorted. Also some distortion on the hi-hat but that’s just being picky!

Positive Comments: Nice ethereal feel with the many synth sounds going on. It all comes together very well. Quite a bit going on with the string like sounds intertwined with the Funky bass sound happening all through the tune. I could easily hear this being used as background music on film or television. Enjoyed it very much!

Constructive Comments: This is so subjective but the funky base sounding part might be a bit too high in the mix to my ears. Otherwise, I wouldn’t change a thing. Nice work!

Constructive Comments: Nice lyrics, but would suggest altering the line ‘I didn’t have a prayer’ to ‘ you don’t have a prayer’ to make it more grammatically correct.

Constructive Comments: Probably not enough repetition in the chorus or the hook, but doesn’t distract too much from the quality of the song or the recording. Well done!
