Positive Comments: great groove – band is tight – love the soli parts.really sweet solos throughout – sax and guitar are especially hot.really love the whole jump jive retro feel of this. way to go!vocalist is playing it cool, melody lines fit right in.

Constructive Comments: really isn’t anything I would do differently – a really hep tune for sure. I would surmise this is for a kind of niche market, but so what! LOL

Positive Comments: I like the feel of the melody. The ideas are there. I think I know who recorded this and I admire the composer. The bass sound sounds familiar. I hate to give this such a low score because the song itself has great potential This would be a great song if recorded with real instruments.

Constructive Comments: I absolutely hate the fake sax. I absolutely hate the fake sax. I absolutely hate the fake sax. Did I say that enough? This could be such a good song with the right instrumentation. This also needs real drums. There is also no dynamics. It sounds strictly MIDI recorded with no human element at all. I would go into the midi and make the piano sound like a piano player is actually playing it. Adjust the velocities of each note as a piano player would hit the keys. Take your time. Don’t rush things. I would not want to listen to this song again in it’s present form. It needs real Sax!!!

Positive Comments: Mixed very well. I’ve got my volume at 30, on my studio monitors, it’s perfect. The feeling in the intro is a bit haunting, but, the shift in vibes is absolutely wonderful. Then at roughly 1:45 you bring that mystery back in, and happiness is like an echo in the back before coming back in. So good! Crafty use of breakdowns, subtle mini drops to bridge sections. Has a very island-y vibe, could totally see this in the right movie scene. Bravo!

Constructive Comments: Some instruments were a bit velocity heavy and I can’t say I recommend a 20+second intro these days, but, it also set the tone for the other sections, and feels more thought out. Overall, it’s a solid track for its intended genre. Keep it up )

Positive Comments: Right out of the gate this got my attention. The vocoder is used well– I do not say this often. It’s not a lazy effect, it’s a synth, good work. The bass is FIRE! This track builds to quite the apex, very cinematic. Often people disregard this isn’t Spotify, for film submissions, it’s different. This is a great example of visuals creeping into the sound. I see it. Then at 2:30– what I shift! Yes! Great work, bud.

Constructive Comments: I feel the vocoder is not quite the best it could be. There are a few odd sfx sounds here that are not to my personal liking. Sometimes the panning feels a bit harsh, like an “8D song” and that’s risky for a standard release. The second drop was a bit disappointing, was expecting a bigger badder section before ending. Overall, amazing work. If an established artist is a 5/5 you got my respectful 4/5. Keep it up )

Positive Comments: Has that Bakersfield/Haggard vibe for sure. Good structure, love the guitar work back there…the instrumentation of this tune is really excellent all the way around.

Constructive Comments: I think this mix needs to be a bit “clearer”, with some of the instruments/tracks more up front and overall loudness a bit UP, the vocal for sure! I’d pound the hook/title a bit more so we remember it.

Positive Comments: I like the honest vocal, overall country vibe and lyrics are country enough. Good structure and writing here. I like the switch to the minor chord once in awhile, different and lends to interest.

Constructive Comments: A few of the end rhyme line lyrics don’t mesh like they should IMO, which may be good, as it isn’t pigeonholed exactly as a country tune would be.Overall nice job.
