Positive Comments: The chorus melodically is a great answer to the question and problems the first stanzas ask. In other words, the tune expresses the words. The rich, weary vocals work very well. This is Tracy Chapman with grit. The unexpected twist at the end makes the song unique and sets it apart. I look at things from a songwriting point of view, and this is a very well written song it could be done in several different styles: pop, country, heavy metal. It could be a demo, a studio production, be one voice and guitar, or it could have complex instrumentation. The song stands on its own merits. Now that’s something! Studio work is impeccable.

Constructive Comments: I’m not qualified to do that. I’d have to listen to more of this style and try it out myself to say anything.

Maybe a Gold Record and Best new song and artist of the year!! This also has a Walk on the Moon feel, I think that’s the band! Again, this is the best and most original thing I have heard on Broad Jam in a very long time!! Can’t wait to find out who wrote and produced this incredible tune!!!

Positive Comments: Love it!!!! Sweet bass licks and attitude!! Reminded me of some Wendy and Lisa stuff mixed in with some Francis Dunnery (It Bites). Also reminds me of one of my favourite recent bands The 1975 – you know them right? If not check them out.

Positive Comments: Autobahn by Kraftwerk anyobody?! Grabbed my attention from the outset. less is more is king here. I like it. really liked the chorus – so simple and effective. This track also would lend itself to a seriously harcore remix by the likes of Deadmau5 or Matrix. (You know the Matrix/Futurebound feat Max Marshall track called Control – that totally blows me away and gives you an idea where I’m going with my comments).

Constructive Comments: Really like the way this builds and the sounds used – the chorus stands out musically so no additional harmonies are essential – some tracks I review on here are lacking musically so I suggest harmonies – this does the opposite. The music tells the structure of the song.
