Positive Comments: Really nice backdrop and very easy to listen to. The instruments really come across as a nice mix, very complimentary. The vocal is strong and well-balanced against the backing track. Background harmonies are also nice.
Constructive Comments: I would have given this a MUCH higher rating except for the distraction of way too much “effect” on the lead vocal. Couldn’t tell if it was reverb, fast echo or what exactly it was but it took my concentration completely away from the lyrics, especially through the first 30+ seconds. It’s so noticeable I thought it was a cymbal at first, but that didn’t make sense. Vocal is right on pitch and there’s no need to cover it in my opinion. I’d re-mix this with a much drier mic sound and you’d really have s great tune.
