Positive Comments: Hi,i like the vocalist voice, sounds somewhere between Scott Walker and Marc Almond ( Soft Cell) but unique in its own way, which is important if you want to be noticed.. The band somewhere between R.EM. and All About Eve (80s British band ) with everybody doing a good team job and not trying to steal the limelight.You also remind me weirdly of a track of the Gun Clubs second album Miami, though cannot remember which one.

Constructive Comments: The song flowed really well, the only weak point i felt was around the middle 8 at the 2 minute mark where it slightly loses its way and could do with either a stronger melody or change in attack.The lyrics seem fine with no weak points albeit no killer lines, that said it does make the chorus stand out more.All together its a really good piece of work, with the caveat that i think you all have another 5 to 10% still left in the locker ! Constructive Comments: There are not any helpful comments for the music or vocals, you’ve got that nailed.Being a mixer / producer myself Im more drawn to the mix and the production.Its been played fantastically and same with the recording and I really fell the mix could be better and the track should jump out with excitement then drop and the dynamics aren’t quite right with the production, the mix and mastering.I own the Grand Northern Recording Studio so its been played through the various studio monitors so Ive had a really good listen through.Anyway over all what a brilliant track, keep in touch. Constructive Comments: Maybe have look at the arrangement and maybe shorten some parts by a few bars just create a little bit of uncertainty with the listen. Don’t put 10 lots 4 bars in there cause after a while the listener because aware of the pattern and subconsciously they drift off and get bored which is the key point to an instrumental when there are no vocals to anchor the track down.Maybe have the break at 4mins filter somehow to change the sonics of the part some people know its the end in a emotional way too.

Constructive Comments: I would have enjoyed some contrast in the instruments from verse to verse or verse to chorus to make the song more dramatic and give it an added dimension, for example maybe acapello on the vocals with just a strum of guitar every few seconds on the beat.

Positive Comments: First impression the acoustic guitar tone and playing is fantastic. The guitarist is top notch…I’m jealous. Lovely change at 0.31. Thoughtful, clever lyrics. The introduction of the drums at 0.52 is very effective. Strong lead vocal and good use of backing vocals which come in a just the right points. A very engaging, catchy song. It reminds me of CSN.

Constructive Comments: I’ve marked down the arrangement and recording because I think it’s too bassy, (oddly enough, I’d offer the same criticism to some CSN’s recordings). Sort that out and you’d have a very strong piece of work here.
