Positive Comments: i really could not hear the words in the song. vocals are way too low. it should not be a christmas song, it would be a great jazz song about someone driving along the highway at night with the breeze in the hair, but not for christmas.

Constructive Comments: i feel like the beginning of “moon lighting”… or “Miami Vice”.change the lyrics, get rid of the singer, and the has potential. but, its also a bit repetitious. he is a wanna be 1980’s sexy guy singer,.. but its not working.

Positive Comments: starts out nice. i like the music so far…. hmm, calypso? bossa nova? interesting…. so far… but, im waiting for lyrics to happen and nothing is happening… i like the music,. but, i would bring up the base a bit to give it punch.

Constructive Comments: it sounds like background music in a restaurant that just disappears into the sound of people eating. no life to it. i really thought i was in for a surprise.. but, it never happened. im sorry, this song is just boring.

Positive Comments: it starts our really nice, the music made me feel like i was in for a treat… but then when the lyrics started, i lost interest. singer is lack luster…sing song sunday school type of song. i have no interest in listening to this ever again.

Constructive Comments: the music is good, just give it a bit more life. if you are trying to make a sunday school teaching type of song, its good. otherwise, you need all new lyrics. the singer has no range, not interesting timbre, or any redeeming qualities.

Positive Comments: the song itself has been done a million times. christian music, as christmas music is a total different animal. so, as a religious song, it is ok to be sung in church, but i do not believe this would be good for mainstream radio. it sounds like the singer is actually, just reading a story from sunday school. i dont like it at all.

Constructive Comments: the music is nice. nothing special at all. its mediocre at best.everyone already knows these lyrics because we all sang them in church . i like the simple music… but,.. the angels rejoiced… Shepard at the birth… been there heard that… next.

Positive Comments: i actually like this song. it has potential. however, the song needs just a bit more work. it’s almost there, but not quite. it can be a good song for a lifetime channel christmas movie. the singer needs to sound excited, but does not. he is boring.

Constructive Comments: the instrumentals need to be brought up a bit. and tighter. it sounds like the song is stuck in medium level but can be great if you think “we are the world” dynamics. singer sounds like he has a cold or blocked sinuses. i wish this song was more christmas feeling. yes, the instrumentals are there, but you need to seperate them more, have the bells and chimes more prounced and the chorus needs to be more of a chorus with more voices, then it will be great.

Positive Comments: I gotta say that the instrumentation was recorded and played well. The mix isn’t bad either. The lyrics definitely have some meaning for the vocalist probably drawing from a life experience The vocals were on at times , but sometimes seemed a little pitchy.

Constructive Comments: I think running the vocals through a tuner would benefit this song a lot because it’s not a bad tune. Tuning the vocals a little would make it an even better one.

Positive Comments: i love christmas songs, old and new, however, i could not wait till this song was over. the subject is not creative. the lyrics were so repetitive, i screamed shut up at the computer. and the long high pitch singing is so annoying, i cant stand it.

Constructive Comments: the quality of the recording sounds very cheaply produced. the singer sounds like a girl with long fingernails that thinks she is beyonce. honestly, there is nothing i like about this song.

Positive Comments: This song was interesting, however, the instruments do not make me feel like it is a holiday/christmas song. I know the lyrics mention the holiday but without listening to the words, i would think this song was just a regular singer songwriter type of genre, the lyrics could be anything because the music is very generic.

Constructive Comments: I feel, for me,.. that if the lyrics were changed to Down by the bayou where the sweet grass grows, it would be more interesting and fitting with the music. i feel this song has a coffee house vibe but the singer sounds disconnected from the story.
