Positive Comments: nice cover song, but, lacks life. love the big band and swing feeling, but this recording is the little sister to the original. if you are going to do a song that is already famous, you need to make it spectacular in order to shine. why listen to your version if the first version is better?

Constructive Comments: singer is trained, but lacks raw emotion. its wishy washy at best. makes me feel like i just had turkey, but they forgot the gravy. please work on it. satin doll is a good song..

Positive Comments: nice and quiet at start. i feel like lyrics might start… you already lost me at 00:50. nothing is happening… until…01:07, ok, something changed.. but not dynamic enough. i have very good studio monitors and the music is just lack luster.

Constructive Comments: this piece would be good for someone doing spoken poetry, but bring down the piano and bring up the strings, and it will create something more interesting. the drums or whatever it is that is supposed to be a crescendo, needs to be louder and i should feel something from this, and i feel nothing… sorry., not for me.

Positive Comments: its almost there…. but not quite. at first, i felt a bit of 80s sitcom theme and then it just gets boring and i feel let down. i was waiting for something to happen and it never did. so sorry, its just noise in the background and not worth a second listen.

Constructive Comments: i like the production, but, its just so boring. luther vandrose would love it… but the 80s called and wanted him back.on a serious note, please work on it a bit more because it has potential, but as an avid listener to smooth jazz, its just completely boring.

SWEET CHARITY .. comes to mind. or Barefoot in the Park. love it. really do.

Constructive Comments: please, just bring up the horns, make it more dynamic and you have a hit. write some lyrics to it because i want to sing to this music. I am an award winning jazz vocalist. I can do wonders with this song. larry costa. i love it. lots of textures!!! keep up the good work!

Positive Comments: i only listen to big band movie type songs. i really like this song, however, the singer has no gusto for life… the lyrics are telling us he does, but the voice does not. he needs to sound happier, like he is skipping around the park, picking daises and giving them to the first pretty girl he sees. but, that feeling does not come through. its a bunch of lyrics that some guy is tell us.

Constructive Comments: I got a feelin and i like feelin this way.. is perfect, but, please do it again. this time, try it REALLLLY HAPPPPY. because the way it is .. just boring. i would only listen again if he was HAPPY. sounds like he is a diner theater performer.. if you are going to do a happy movie song where the boy is ecstatic about his day… lets hear it!!
