Positive Comments: Very good and very soulful piece. Love the rough voice. It puts you to mind of some of the great folk and rock voices of days gone by. Keeping it acoustic is a very good choice, because nothing should be taken away from these lyrics.

Constructive Comments: Very good work.

Positive Comments: Gotta love this sweet Christian love song. I really like the chorus! So memorable, poignant and heartfelt. The love truly comes through in this totally sincere song. Chorus is singable and memorable. Favorite lyric: splash of purple in the snow. Great word picture! Vocalist reminds me a little bit of Michael W. Smith.

Constructive Comments: Only 2 verses, no singing bridge….seems like it could use a little more work, though it’s nice the way it is. If you’re not geared to commercial, you can quit while you’re ahead.

Positive Comments: Nice country gospel song with a great message: Let your love grow, something we all need to hear/do. Passionate vocal. Good use of pauses/rests. My favorite verse was the one about the ocean.

Constructive Comments: Vocal seems a bit out of control at some spots. Intro is long. Song is lengthy, too. A bit too much repetition, I think.

Positive Comments: Here’s a vocalist with a raspy dark voice singing a bluesy love song, simple lyrics, but effective. Totally sincere and raw. Nice work on the instrumentals. They really “speak”. Totally a cool blues song.

Constructive Comments: Personally, I didn’t like the part about coming home drunk after a fight. But it’s a great word picture, leather, lace and all.

Positive Comments: Here’s an original song with a great topic. Dorothy’s Red Ruby Slippers. I like the structure of the song (counting to ten clicks). The lyrics are rather humorous. Probably the best ones were the drunken man walking a straight line and the cackling hen. The song isn’t meant to be serious performed live probably gets a lot of laughs, especially if the performer is clicking those shiny red shoes.

Constructive Comments: The only lyric I didn’t like was about stealing someone else’s man. You’ve got a fun song and I hope you can garner a lot of smiles with it.

Constructive Comments: Wanted to hear it be driven a bit more after the first verse and chorus.

Positive Comments: Sounded like a Walt Disney tune at the intro. Commercial sounding tone to the voice.

Constructive Comments: Song needs to build more – based on commercial hits it needs to build and build to a crescendo of a middle eight that grabs the listener. Is there a version with a rhythm section?

Positive Comments: Nice driving feel to the tune pushing it along.

Constructive Comments: I review music on here through headphones – for me the rhythm section is almost lost completely. Guitar and piano are high in the mix but the bass and drums lost completely. Needs a much better mix.
