Positive Comments: I appreciate the passionate song writing and delivery of the lyrics. I think that these are by far the strongest parts of the track. I also enjoyed the steady progression in the song, but I think that you can achieve the end result a little quicker by cutting out a min or two of the track. I also think that this song would sound much less depressing if you added more sounds to the beat, or had a female duet/call-and-response to help liven things up a bit. Overall it is decent.

Constructive Comments: I am not a listener of country, but, as an outside listener, I think that the song may be too long. Try cutting it short to about 3 min tops. This way, more people will be inclined to continue listening till the end. I also think that, despite the sadness/solemn mood of the track and written material, there could be more going on in the instrumental for part of the beat. The drums do not kick in until a full 2 min into the song. This may be your objective, but I think you can compromise to get a general audience to listen more. You only need to have maybe a certain section that consists of JUST the guitar and twangy strings. You may or may not want a more recognizable hook too, if you want to include one. -Remember, female duet/call-and-response!! Just a thought

Positive Comments: This beat was so smooth and funky, it had everything for me. You didnt go too far to mess it up, but definitely kept it fresh by switching it up. I love that stutter/chop of whatever instrument that is. Also the keys and additional melodies are very nice. Would love to hear this in some type of media, if no one will sing or rap over it.

Constructive Comments: Although this had nearly everything, I would suggest searching for some higher quality drum samples if you wanted to improve anything. Right now they sound kinda cheap. I don’t know if you played them live and recorded them, or used a DAW to sequence them, but definitely look into that. The hats mainly. The kick seemed fine to me.

Positive Comments: I definitely like the more martial parts of the track, since it has that energy throughout. Specifically at 1:36, the drums are a very touch that adds to the aggressive energy of the track. I think a grungy, electric guitar riff would absolutely kill here! The track overall is very solid, and I would enjoy this with or without additional context (i.e. placement in a TV show, Movie, etc.)

Positive Comments: Hi, thanks for letting me listen a bit. I was impressed with the energy and focus you brought to the track, and the originality overall was great. The instrumental was pretty amazing, especially that intro, that got me excited and reeled me in hook-line-and-sinker (I think thats how you say it). Also was impressed with the track length, and how you didnt follow the popular formula of making 3-5 min long songs. This was short and sweet, which I think is a strength of the track.

Constructive Comments: I enjoyed the intro very much. However, when you come in on beat at 13 seconds, it is much too harsh and unexpected upon the listener, since there is no build up. Also the volume level of your vocals is too high above the rest of the instrumental track. As for the recording of the vocals itself, it didn’t sound properly mixed to me, and instead of having the vocals sit center of the instrumental, flush with everything else, it sounds like it is atop of the beat, and not surrounded/complemented by the beat. I also was not one for the writing of the track, as it seemed to be just mainly words thrown together without a communicable meaning, other than conspiracy, or edgy topics. This is not to say you cannot improve the song, however, I would go back and try tweaking the things I mentioned first.

Positive Comments: Sounds like the soundtrack to a 50s diner, then there is that section at 55 seconds that sounds like a James Bond or The Incredibles movie soundtrack haha. Definitely a solid piece of film music, and I would go further to say that it would be useful for someone to sing on too. Would love to hear this in a spy-thriller movie, or a travel-scene.

Constructive Comments: Definitely wanted more grunge, electric guitar at 1:56, but the song instead went for something more safe and smooth instead at 2:00, until of course something changed again at 2:14, which was the hardness-factor I was looking for. Overall pretty nice.I would suggest trying to record those drums in a better recording environment, unless you are trying to go for that live feel.

Positive Comments: Yo, I dont regularly listen to electronic music, but I love it nonetheless, and incorporate it into my music as well. Your composition was insane, and I think you did a solid job on the mix as well. Definitely felt some type of way listening to those short, little 3-note squeaks that banged. I think this would go great for a retro-TV show, or some trippy cartoon/movie.

Constructive Comments: As for just a stand-alone song, I think the arrangement suffers just a bit from being incredible. Certain parts of the song, from 43 secs to 59 secs dragged on a bit too long, with little to no variation in the beat. This made me lose focus on the music just a bit, and it would be hard for someone who is not already a fan to continue to engage listening. But I think for the purposes of background music, it does wonderful!

Positive Comments: Kinda reminds me of a J Dilla beat with those horns and keys!! I really enjoyed how it put me into a laid-back space where I could just zone-out and enjoy the sounds. Not too complex, but definitely interesting enough to hold my attention. It was nice how you opened and closed the song too. Felt very 90s-Martin Lawrence to me.

Constructive Comments: Wasn’t too sure of that switch-up/bridge (?) section near the 1:00 mark. Obviously you are incorporating many styles and instruments here, but I think the arrangement can help with this. I feel starting at 2:15, the guitar should come in, and you should cut the guitar-playing before that. Also, it seems like one or more of the melodies is out of key. The bassline is in one key, but then you pitch it up, and everything else sounds slightly off.

Positive Comments: Your performance on the mic was admirable. In fact, it was the highlight of the track!! The mix sounded Suppppperr clean, so props man. Your writing was definitely felt bro, so I think it is worth trying to push it. I would just consider a few tweaks to the arrangement and maybe the instrumentation overall. This reminded me of some experimental ish that Danny Brown would try and put on “Atrocity Exhibition”, namely track #2.

Constructive Comments: This was great, but in order to be really catchy, I would try to find ways to shorten the song overall. The intro, for instance was waaaayyy to long. The instrumental on this track isn’t insane, so I imagine people with less patience than us musicians would skim or switch to a different song. Also, the hook is great, but, I think you can also make that even better by adding an element to the beat, or cutting it shorter. MAybe try adding some weird effects, or detune the voices!!! That would really grab my attention, and I would remember hearing that in your song, make me open to playing it again, just for that part.Mainly bro, the beat has gotta get better. Idk if it is the sparseness of the track, or the quality of those drums, but something seems missing, and I feel you are shortchanging yourself by not selecting better sounds. Keep working it bro, this was great imo. Your MC ability was HARD bro. Dope.

Positive Comments: This song is really interesting bruh!! This sounds like The Weeknd/Chris Brown/Trey Song/ or some R&B cat, and your flow emulates Suga Free, all on top of a 2010 Tyga/YG West Coast beat. Its an interesting mix to say for sure, one I think could definitely fit into the current spectrum of Top 40 Hip-hop. Overall very tight mane.

Constructive Comments: I think that the recording of the person on the hook is a little hard to hear at first. He has to sing clearer, or the recording needs to be made less…idk, fuzzy? I can only kind of hear what he’s saying, and he sounds like a mumble rapper. I’m not one of those dudes thats into that, so I would go back and fix that. I also think that, despite your unique style (which is dope, keep at it), I would go over the recordings a little bit till it sound perfect, ya feel me bible? Right now your flow is grooving, but at times it was a little hard to hear you enunciate and catch up with what you were saying. But maybe thats my problem, lol…
