Positive Comments: It’s definitely original. I could see it as the intro to a podcast or something.

Constructive Comments: This might be a little bit above my expertise. Definitely not a song I would listen to while working out or driving to work. It was just kind of strange to me. But I’m sure there’s an audience for it! Just not my cup of tea.

Positive Comments: Everything is on time, the instrumentals are in tune, and it’s a catchy tune.

Constructive Comments: Maybe it just wasn’t my genre, but I wasn’t a fan of the sound quality of the instrumentals. The organ/piano filter, even if you were going for an electronic sound, just sounded really low quality. I think the song has potential if you change the MIDI options on the instruments. In my opinion, the sound quality of the instruments just seemed very low quality and fake. It wasn’t fully electronic and it wasn’t fully real sounding instruments. I’d like to hear the piano part on a real piano rather than the electronic sound.

Song: GONNA BE ON TIME!

Positive Comments: All of the instrumentals were well played. Everything was on time and in tune. The guitar had a jazzy feel. The lyrics were creative. The instrumental of the song was quite catchy and decently produced. TONS of potential. I’ve reviewed other songs that felt like the production was so off that they’d never get a quality song–this song shows you have a ton of talent and there is a lot of potential for this song.

Constructive Comments: Something about the melody felt off to me. There were a lot of pitch problems, and the notes just didn’t seem to go where one would expect. When I hear a bluesy song, I’m expecting the melody and the vocals to be in sync. To flow with one another. With this song, it just felt like the vocals and the instrumental weren’t on the same page. Almost like it was two different songs. I think the melody needs to be tweaked to match the instrumentals and arrangement.

Song: LET ME KNOW

Reviewer: Austin Mulka

Positive Comments: Guitar and vocals are great. Lyrics are very creative. Has a lot of potential as a country song. Mostly everything about the song, vocals, instrumental, lyrics, were all good. All the pieces to the song all there, they just need to be pieced together.

Constructive Comments: The vocals came in way too soon, which made the song seem amateurish. Typically, unless you are considered a musical revolutionary or genius, you want to stick to established and typical formats for songs–which usually include 2 measures of instrumental. There also wasn’t a very clear format to the song, it just seemed like it was arranged kind of sporadically without theory in mind.
