Broadjam Artist: Barry Osbourn
Song: Have Mercy
Reviewer: Jeff Maguire
Positive Comments: Pretty much a dead ringer for ZZ Top and Billy Gibbons, pretty much any commercial listing asking for something in the style of ZZ Top would be interested.
Constructive Comments: It REALLY sounds like ZZ Top, so much so that I suspect the only use commercially would be in an ad or film where someone wants ZZ Top but doesn’t want to pay ZZ Top rates. Guitar playing is very well done, it really could be Billy Gibbons it’s just to loud in mix, overall mix does not seem to jell. The effect on vocals is distracting, if it were me I’d take it off and just use one vocal track. Overall I’d say with a remix it could be good enough to sell.
