Broadjam Artist: Chet Nichols
Song: King Barlow – Harp Solo

Reviewer: Teri Feaser

Positive Comments: Awesome harp work!

Constructive Comments: Do you use a wind screen? A wise investment. The breathing shouldn’t be heard & it takes away from the music…great chops!

Positive Comments: guitar is clean and well played,. Good rhythm . vocal fits the story. nice solo recording. overall vibe moves the song nicely /

Constructive Comments: I hear the verses and chorus as similar . So maybe the contrast between the city boy and country could be re enforced . is the hook- country Lovin or love in the wild ?for lyrics i’m wondering if you use the word so – what happens before that ?mmm like ” the pulse of the city drives me crazy so i decided to try a simpler life” etcThe song seems long for this story .anyway ,I hope this helps -thanks for letting me review- and write on !

Song: Orchestral Opener

Reviewer: David James

Positive Comments: A great little playful piece. A nice melody which is really engaging. I like the change of instrumentation at 0.14 and again at 0.24. Good choice of instrument. The tune has a very cinematic theme. I imagine a circus coming to town.

Constructive Comments: The only part which of the piece which sounded slightly out of place were the bells at the start, which made me expect a Christmas song. Overall though I really like it and I can easily imagine this as a longer piece.

Song: Daniel

Reviewer: Bob Stump

Positive Comments: music fits the lyrics. Vocals are a good match for feel .Tone quality is good. Instrumentation fits the song. A thoughtful song to chat with a friend and remember a loved one

Constructive Comments: I was hoping the chorus would happen but instead it was an instrumental . Remembering a loved one is a challenging theme. I was hoping for more story leading to a stronger hook. Some of the lyrics do not have plain speak – ” now and then I chance”” nevermore ” I hope this was helpful-Write on !
