Positive Comments: Pleasant chord progressions played with consistent arpeggios. Add in a synth vocal choir and that pretty much describes this piece. Builds nicely with a few variations.

Constructive Comments: Nice job…Work on originality. Just my personal preference, I wasn’t too fond of the choral vocal effects. After a while their “canned” sound got a little boring for me.

Positive Comments: This is such a fun song! I absolutely love it. The hook is wonderful, it is so catchy and just fun with that childish silliness perfectly sprinkled in. The two vocals harmonize perfectly as well and adds a next level of depth to this song.

Constructive Comments: Overall, this song is so great. It is fun and catchy. I would recommend taking off the third trill on the guitar after the fist time the chorus plays. It seems to end and fade abruptly that it almost feels like it was unintentional to be there in the first place.

Song: Once (Protilius Productions Featuring Dianne MacAdam)

Positive Comments: Very melodic and soothing. This song is incredibly transcendental and transport you to another state of mind. The harmony of the two vocalists is fantastic. The instrumental is very well done as well.

Constructive Comments: The instrument and vocals for this song are both very beautiful. However, it does feel like the two are competing for attention. I would also recommend bringing down the reverb on the vocals to really help this song pop.

Positive Comments: This is a very fun and active song. The hook is wonderful and is definitely something I can see being used for a fun kids’ television show.

Constructive Comments: As stated before, this song is very active and fun. I thoroughly enjoyed it, however, there was something about the song that I just can’t put my finger on that doesn’t have me 100% sold on this song. It might just be that, in my mind, this song feels like it would be ever more wonderful with visuals such as a goofy fun music video to really help sell this song.

Song: Walk in It

Reviewer: JD Crawford

Positive Comments: A wonderfully catchy song! This is something I can see kids taking home and singing to their parents or in the care after a fun Sunday school lesson with this song as an additive educational piece. Using a hook that adds some dance moves to it makes it all that more engaging.

Constructive Comments: Overall, the song is great and fun. If I was being nit-picky I would maybe suggest bringing up the audio on the children’s backup vocals, but only ever so slightly. Beyond that, this is truly one of the best songs I have heard from you and I look forward to hearing more.

Positive Comments: + “I’m Sorry” has a nice sound with quality lead vocals + up-tempo groove with musically moving bass lines+ has memorable hooks, good form, and clear sonic production + tune fits Adult Contemporary genre or movie track

Constructive Comments: * love bass playing/sound…nice feel with drm trk* intro is short and fitting* at 1st vs I would cut swirling keys and bring them in on just the choruses – leads to better recognition of vocal lyric and less repetition/monotony of synths/keys the bass/dms CAN hold it together* no guitars at all? my suggestion would be light acc guit strumming L/R on vs and add a clean lead sound on pre-chorus and choruses* LAST COMMENT I would rather hear a mix of backing vocals female, male, choir, etc) because lead vocal has so much character/tone etc. hearing the same as backing takes away from it* I know all this costs money… but this is a great track with even greater potential!

Positive Comments: very modern depth / feel to the audio. I really enjoyed listening to this. Could fit well is as ambient background music for suspense / mystery genres.

Constructive Comments: while I enjoyed the overall sound tremendously, it became clear that just about all the instruments are simulated / VST effects and software rendered as opposed to being played. In the end, you have to ask yourself if you’re a sound engineer with some musical training or a musician. Still great work.

Song: Opus for Marionette in F Major

Reviewer: Edmond Allmond

Positive Comments: A simple melody in the violins/violas creates a beautiful song that is easy to follow. the piano counters with a percussive answer to the persistence of the string melody. The harmonic structure is sure, simple, beautiful. As the chordal construct marches up the scale, it creates an intensity that supports the melodic lines. Nicely written.

Constructive Comments: The voices, of course, could be different and do this song justice. It’s difficult to get good voices. I’d love to hear the strings for Synful or from Miroslav Vitous sample library. That would be ideal. The piano sits in the mix well.A cleanup of the mix, and a touch of mastering will make this song really stellar.
