Positive Comments: Very nice song with clean recording. I like the lyrics. I also like how the pace of the lyrics speed up and add variety to the song.

Constructive Comments: I have a couple of suggestions I think will make this very good song even better. The chorus seems a little weak. One thing I noticed in your song is the melody tends to go to low notes. I think on the chorus words ” GOODBYE NOTE ” the notes sung should go up and reach a peak. Also on ” GOODBYE, …THAT’S ALL SHE WROTE” Another suggestion is put just a little country twang in the vocals. Your vocals are very nice but need a little more country sound to classify this a country/contemporary .I hope my opinion helps. Best wishes!

Positive Comments: An auspicious beginning. Powerful meaningful rhythm… great melodic line. From simplicity comes such a big statement. It interesting how, without the addition of more instruments, the intensity grows as the song progresses. I think the interplay, the conversation between the different voices, is what creates the increased intensity… The instrumentation is thoughtful, perfect. This song takes me to other places on the globe without defining borders. Thank you for this great piece of music.

Constructive Comments: This song is so perfectly laid out, there’s nothing to add here. This was a really fun musical work! glad I encountered it here. It’s so amazing, and worth repeating, that from thoughtful simplicity can come such complexity. Amazing. The conversation that happens between the different voices is fascinating. The melody is infectious. Can’t escape it. Well done.

Positive Comments: Brilliant piece! The sophistication and thoughtfulness of the construction of this song is intriguing. The melody pulls at me in such a yearning, sad manner… The choice of instruments for the groove is not expected and yet so perfect. And what a glorious ending. I will add this to my driving sounds. I can pull this up in the car as I drive the rocky coast. What a wonderful, wonderful piece. This reminds me a bit of Sakamoto Ryuchi…

Constructive Comments: The thoughtfulness put into this work is astounding to me. There is nothing I can add. I’ve listened several times to this piece and each time I’m mesmerized. Each time I find something different within it. Each time the experience of listening to the interplay of one part against another is new. There is so much happening, yet everpart has a perfect place to live. Perfectly constructed. Thank you.

Positive Comments: What a stellar beginning! Love it! What does this remind me of? I can’t think of anything! It’s wonderfully original to my ear. Gastroharmonic Excellence. Ha! This song is toooo much fun. Out side of the main ‘melodic line’ the supporting instrumentation is really fun and musically excellent. Very well performed as well. Great recording.

Constructive Comments: My only constructive ideas? Maybe a bit more rootbeer before recording ‘melodic lines’ like this? haha! This is a really fun song with great audio surprises throughout. Truly enjoyable. The recording is very well done, the mix is great. The mastering is well executed.Nothing to add. Just a wonderful bit of fun. Thank you for this!

Positive Comments: Good country feel! I love the way the singer sings the word “heart” Very nice bridge!

Constructive Comments: Excellent country tune! One thing is the vocals could be stronger and more enunciated. I had trouble hearing them. Also the bridge was good but the vocals seemed weak. You might try to re-mix or hire a session singer and re-record it to make this good song even better! Best wishes!

Positive Comments: I enjoy this piece. The harmonic rhythm of this piece is not predictable, and yet allows you to follow and understand it immediately. Well written. This song is a wonderful collection of rhythmic motifs layered against simple melodic motifs that are easily remembered. In fact, the song makes you remember them. I enjoyed this piece.

Constructive Comments: I love that obligato left hand can be a ‘hook’. The pattern has a certain allure to it that I don’t have words for…I’d love for the lower voice to have a little more space to live in the mix, but I do like it much. This song is really quite straightforward. I enjoyed it. It would be wonderful to hear this played by a real orchestra, or using the Miroslav Vitous orchestral sample library. Exciting work! Thank you!
