Positive Comments: good beats/bass. I quite liked the vocals when they came in. you have some good elements to the track. main backing synth sounds around 4 min on sound a bit like moby

Constructive Comments: not sure on those strings at the beginning at all. they don’t fit with the rest of the track. the bass, beats etc is good but those out of tune strings need to go.vocals are panned/delayed incorrectly meaning they take up a lot of the mix, the delayed part sounds like it drifts out of timei think the drums/mix could of been cleaned up a little. the vocals are a touch too loud in the mix also

Positive Comments: written in 2001 it’s sound is dated if a song does not grab you right away like the opening line you are in trouble if you want people to record your songs listen to the top 30 watch the videos see and hear what’s going on today. songwriting is a craft work on your craft and learn something new everyday good luck and keep writing

Constructive Comments: better hook stronger lyrics and a stronger demo singer

Positive Comments: for today’s standard this song is missing a lot lyrics and melody are to old sounding i would also use a demo singer a clever hook and a good opening line is esssential. now if this song were pitched for a movie or TV show it called for a classic country it might have a chance there. learn your craft listen to today’s country read books go to workshops etc… but keep learning and by all means keep writing.

Constructive Comments: stronger title stronger lyrics better vocals production stronger i thought the verses were too long before you got to the chorus

Positive Comments: The song is nicely arranged and played. The singe has a good , broad voice and very good pronounciation.

Constructive Comments: The intro suggests almost electronic music. i thik there is too much of effect. The sure think is , that it is not a jazz song. I actually can,t say the style, kind of adult pop, or country with some guitar south american solos.Interesting arrangement. But the harmony is too predictible and melody all the same.Still the song in its melody is quite monotonious.Insongwriting theory the principal rule is stable versus unstable and it is a stable song. There is not much of change in different parts. The words are very human and nicely simple.Yes, the song is nice and I beleive it will be liked by many people.

Positive Comments: Lovely clear fingerpicking Lovely melody and a good storyline

Constructive Comments: I was actually expecting a male vocal . Nothing wrong with a female vocal but for this song and this story I think a male vocal might have strengthened it . It’s a very good song …would not mind playing this one myself at one of our sessions

Positive Comments: The instrumentation was very good although I was expecting it to be more layered as the song progressedThere is a nice melody running through. The recording quality is very good and clear

Constructive Comments: Sometimes the writer of the song is not the best person to sing the song ! The female vocal that overlaid the second half of song might have been more prominent. The drumming probably needs to be softened and mixed more so that it doesn’t sound Intrusive

Positive Comments: It is a Jazz funk music. Precisely played, with nice sounding sax. It reminds me the beginning of funk like Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock. The only think that is not that wundeful is, that it is monotonious and not very sophosticate in harmony. Thanks, anyway It was a pleasure to hear.

Constructive Comments: The only thing that is not very interesting after a while of listening. It is a bit monotonous and not very sophisticate in harmony. I would change a harmony use some available in the scale chords with its dominants and two five progressions. Or I would use other scales like diminished, whole tone scale. That would make the 4 minute piece more exciting. And if you leave what you recorded for a minute, than make changes the piece would be good for different licensing. Also the rhythm is fine, I would like to hear some changes, movements, parts, that gives some excitement, some silent , some shy part, and after more intense parts. Or make it sometimes even more sweet and delicate. Thanks, anyway It was a pleasure to hear.
