Positive Comments: clear and clean recording as well as great vocal job sir! like the simple clean acoustic guitar going on. lyrics solid. identifiable and solid hook/title–will YOU still love me?? all the best.

Constructive Comments: i’d build the song as it moves from verse to verse, no real chorus but that’s just fine, as i think this is self produced and clear, can hear all the lyrics

Nick Fuse & Tony R Clef): Away by Nick Fuse

Nick Fuse

Broadjam Artist: Nick Fuse
Song: Nick Fuse & Tony R Clef): Away

Reviewer: Jeff Ashbaker

Positive Comments: Right from the start the introduction draws the listener into the story. The softness of the vocal fits so nicely with the easy flowing classical guitar. The overall sadness of the story and the regret of the singer comes across so poignantly and will connect with many a lost love listener. The song definitely brings to mind the folk songs of a bygone era and does the genre justice. Even the lyric seems to be written in manor that would be appropriate for the time frame it harkens back to.

Constructive Comments: I kept finding myself wishing to hear a fiddle crying in the background somewhere??

Positive Comments: Nice groove and vibe. The vocal change in the middle made for a very cool variation. The song gets you moving which is a good reason for music. Both vocals are natural to the vibe and are performed very professionally. Of course there seems to be a reminiscent leaning toward Lou Reed in my mind, whether intentional or not it is a good thing.Well written, performed and recorded. I enjoyed this one a lot-Thanks

Constructive Comments: The introduction seemed a little too long, but then it was interesting so maybe it was just right?I’m not sure about the classification of this number, but then I’m never to sure about any of my classification.Nothing more to add here, other than those minor things.I could not get the whole lyric to show up in the box…only the chorus was there.??

Positive Comments: As a children’s song, you have an advantage because it doesn’t sound like all the Disney-ish stuff we often expect of this genre. I think a note about the educational value of identifying minerals would help sell this.

Constructive Comments: You may get a lot of passes simply because so many want silly music. But that doesn’t mean you should change anything. Just make your reason for pitching it very clear in the notes. In fact, you could suggest a whole discussion/lesson plan on what minerals are and why people go looking for them. If you have an additional reason t pitch this song, include that suggestion as well.

Positive Comments: This song has some very clear uses and is quite commercial. The horns sound great. One can picture many a scene this would work for. Glad it does not fade out, as this makes it more useful for music supervisors. Really nothing to complain about here. Good job, and keep up the good work. As far as what it reminds me of, The Bridge Over the River Quai comes to mind immediately. Any military march, return of a hero or leader, arrival of a dignitary, or the beginning of a victory celebration. These kinds of tunes seldom have a memorable melody, and you have done a good job of creating one.

Constructive Comments: Cymbals were a bit loud in my speakers, especially at the end. Vocals and lyrics need a lot of work. Okay, just kidding. I would assume only part of this would be used, so you may want to make 30 second and one-minute versions of it and let them know those are available when you pitch it.

Constructive Comments: , i was thinking it would lead to some kind of lyrics . It seems in places a little repeating.

Positive Comments: When I review music I try to listen to the whole song regardless and I’m happy I did this song was surprisingly great if that makes sense I moved my feet immediately to the beat which was very simple yet smart of you. The vocals were on point I’m a hip hop head but I love to hear live music regardless the genre and I can tell you or whom ever made the track actually played all these instruments that was refreshing to hear given today’s technology and ease of access and even if you did use electronic drums it didn’t sound like it. The beginning of the song took me on a ride I was like what’s going on and it kept my interest throughout I thought the panning could of been a little better just to blend those two riffs better but it was still cool. This is a hit

Constructive Comments: I’ve already said what I had to say above good job
