Positive Comments: I really like the song overall. I enjoyed the vocalist a great deal and the mood that is set. The lyrics are good and set a mood. the lyrics also cause me as the listener to imagine many visions. For good trip hop the lyrics shouldn’t be overly common or about common every day subjects nd in this regard this song doesn’t disappoint. these lyrics are dreamy and set an almost otherworldly or fantasy based mood. The overall musicianship is good and fully supports the vocals and vision that is being evoked. The vocals are recorded well as well as the instrumentation. the production is good and I would listen to this song personally. Artistically the song reminds me of a Female fronted Roxy Music or Duran Duran or as a modern reference early Goldfrapp. I’ve heard many Trip Hop compilations that this song would be at home on.

Constructive Comments: There is only one issue with the song. It needs a better mix. Even with the mix as it is it’s a great tune. But with a stronger mix it would be a masterpiece…!!! Nice work all in all… Keep up the good work and Keep writing great tunes such as this. This is a great tune that deserves being heard.

Positive Comments: A well recorded and performed piece of music with interesting changes. There is a nice Celtic feel to the piece. I love the way the instruments come in one at a time at the beginning of the song.

Constructive Comments: While well recorded there is a bit of muddiness to the mix which is a bit hard to pin down. The bass sounds full and organic but could probably use a little boost around 1.5 K and a little cut in the lower frequencies. This might help with clarity and separation. I was expecting the main theme to come back in after the slower passage. I thought the uptempo part would work very well if it had been reintroduced. Instead the song just kind of petered out.

Positive Comments: This is one of the most unusual songs I’ve heard. Original and somehow very unsettling. There’s so many jagged edges. All the disparate pieces somehow fit together. I love the way that incidental instruments emerge from the mix and disappear, including the sax-like synth at the end, and the toy piano type sound that comes and goes. I love the rhythm changes and the “every day” sense of the lyrics. Truly original.

Constructive Comments: Some of the things that make this song so original are the same things that make it hard to listen to — but in a good way. The song seems to be about to spin out of control — the rhythm is so loose. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. The vocals are somewhat buried in the mix and almost unintelligible. Was that the intent? The fade at the end of the song is quite abrupt. It could definitely use a smoother fade.
