Song: This Beautiful Country
Reviewer: Matt Mereu
Positive Comments: A well recorded and performed piece of music with interesting changes. There is a nice Celtic feel to the piece. I love the way the instruments come in one at a time at the beginning of the song.
Constructive Comments: While well recorded there is a bit of muddiness to the mix which is a bit hard to pin down. The bass sounds full and organic but could probably use a little boost around 1.5 K and a little cut in the lower frequencies. This might help with clarity and separation. I was expecting the main theme to come back in after the slower passage. I thought the uptempo part would work very well if it had been reintroduced. Instead the song just kind of petered out.
