Song: She Can Fly

Positive Comments: Great stuff – Beck meets Tom Petty – Well done – Great Mix – Cool Melody – I dug it!
Constructive Comments: Keeping do what you do. Talk about current – Melodic – Has an Easy listening Alt Pop Folk – would think Xm Sirius would have a category this should fit into and should be playing right now! Maybe “Coffee House Music” This is the real deal – complete package – if i was an A&R snob i’d sign this song or this Artist – Keep doing what your doing!!

Broadjam Artist: Chet Nichols
Song: Romeo Cowboy (… from “Lucky Man”)
Reviewer: Anxious Rabbit
Positive Comments: memorable hook – fun title – possible Sync placement if there is a specific request for a rough demo type sound from a struggling song writer – little bit dated title and theme – not todays music though
Constructive Comments: Sounded like it was recorded at home – May have Sync possibilities – Doubtful an Artist would ever cut this song – these days A&R people wanna hear a very polished presentation or a very clean stripped down presentation – Good songs don’t get cut – they have got to be Great to even be considered. Album fillers down get cut. The artist and or producer write those. Spend the money $850 – $1,200.00 and have a pro production house demo you song but only if you feel it’s one of the best songs you ever wrote and it might have a place in todays market. If this was just written for fun – to get it out of your system – keep written! And keep having fun.

Positive Comments: Great session players – Good mix [ over all ] Period Music – Old School – Marty Robins? George Strait? Easy listening.
Constructive Comments: So old school the song limits it’s placement, if you’re looking to place it with an artist or hoping for a sync cut – Vocals could have been up just a little more in the mix – Pleasant song – If releasing yourself it’ll make a nice album filler – if hoping for an artist cut – not likely – Sync place it where the focus to be if getting your song used is your goal. if not – just sharing some of your music with the world – keep sharing!

Positive Comments: The Cars meet Tom Petty – Great hook – Excellent Musicianship – Pretty Damn Decent vocals!!
Constructive Comments: Felt the mix did a dis-service to the vocals. Slightly buried – And If the vocals had been mixed a little brighter it would have brought even more energy to the song. Other than that,..it ROCKED! keep keeping on!! Not just an album filler and would be great for Major Film sync closing credits!!

Song: Wrapped Up In Rain (ft. CoriAnder & Ruth Gillies)
Reviewer: Anxious Rabbit
Positive Comments: there’s not a lot to be said here – well written – well executed – well mixed – well sung
Constructive Comments: this artist or group is on a trajectory for major success! They sound – felt – is right now – could hear this as a Sync placement without a doubt – And it is far more than a album “filler” track – lot’s of potential – was happy to hear next level music during a review session! thank you- it was refreshing!

Reviewer: Anxious Rabbit
Positive Comments: Sorry can’t think of another artist for comparison – Solid hook – Feels like a Sync placement – but not sure it would find it way on to an Album –
Constructive Comments: Invest in having the song mastered by a pro – 150 to 300 – entire mix felt a little muddy – Perhaps invest in some new software – sound modules – Keep at it – Lyrics felt solid – I know it’s a black think [ so maybe i’ll never appreciate ] hearing the “N” word [ cuz i’ll never be allowed to sing your song on karaoke night ] but at least it wasn’t over used! Would like to hear something melodic mixed in – like a little some of what Post Malone does on occasion! Not comparing just using as an example i like to hear some melody mix in with my rap!

Positive Comments: A Classic – all i can say is, if you’re gonna do a cover it’s got as good as If Not Better – than the original – Mix should have been Master for max effect – this felt little lack luster mix wise – Vocal were ok – little pitch here and there – but it’s the Blues – some pretty damn good musician ship\!
Constructive Comments: Pay the extra money and have your Demos Master by a pro – $150.00 to $300.00 And keep rocking – it always ruff when you’re being compare to those at the very top of the Game!
