Positive Comments: I enjoyed the vibe of the song and the overall upbeat nature to it. There were actually a lot of positives to this song.
Constructive Comments: The biggest problem for me was that I did not believe the singer that it was in fact an excellent day. I felt like most of his energy was going into trying to stay in tune and in time, instead of into the lyrics to express how happy he was.Lyrically you had some struggles. You had an good overall theme, it just felt like you wandered from that theme a little too much and into some incongruous places. For instance, I have no idea how the opening of the song relates to the mountains or the rest of the song for that matter. Also wasn’t a big fan of the over-rhyming. The “say, day, hey” rhymes felt like you got stuck in a rut, like you got into those “A” rhymes and couldn’t find your way out.
