Positive Comments: I like the hook and the instrumental parts, I love the sound of the dialing telephone! The premise of the song: dialing the familiar number that brings back of memories of Grampa/Gramma, the piano are beautifully original. I’d like to hear a bit more of a lyrical connection between the vocals and the melody. Ref. the production, I feel the instrumental portion is too far out-front of the vocal. I’d like to hear more of the vocal “backed-up” by the music. Yes I would welcome more songs by this artist – nice voice from what I can hear, good music accompaniment, lovely imaginative song.

Constructive Comments: In production, bring up the volume of the vocal track, back-off on the music a bit. Maybe that would satisfy what I ‘feel’ is missing in the lyrical connection. Otherwise I think this could be a very nice song.

Positive Comments: It’s a lovely tune which is played beautifully. I like the gentle, understated quality of the tune. Nice change at 0.58 to a higher register. It has a melancholic feel which would work well for film/TV.

Constructive Comments: I think the volume is slightly low. That’s why I’ve marked down the quality of the recording. That lack of volume could be he difference between a music supervisor picking up the track or rejecting it. Overall though it’s a delightful composition.

Positive Comments: Great use of light and shade in the song. Strong lead vocal. Good use of harmony vocals. Beautiful melody. Nice lyric idea. Lovely piano and acoustic guitar. I like the dreamy, dramatic ambience. The chord structure reminds me of Pink Floyd.

Constructive Comments: I’ve marked down the quality of the recording because I think the sound quality could be better. I would have liked an electric guitar to have come in at about 2.53, with some meaty chords and lead just add to the track’s dramatic quality. Overall though…great song!

Positive Comments: Wow – ok – Hmmm there is a “hook” in there that keeps surfacing for sure. Although it seems to come back around on it’s self so fast that it starts to feel a little too repetitive / a little too familiar – perhaps adding some new elements – or various on that theme might open it up more and draw it out and create a feel of a more complete instrumental. Also keep practicing, there were a couple bobbles in there that were slightly distracting. But there was something to it. It just needed to build a little more.

Constructive Comments: Don’t know there is much more to share than what i tried to convey up top. Keep practicing is the best advice i can offer and never stop enjoying the music!
