Constructive Comments: Everything was spot on. The band was tight and the lyrics were outstanding. It’s dark and sexy and the pedal steel carries that perfectly. Your voice is sultry and there’s a chilly exhilaration to it all. Really well done. For what it’s worth… I’m genuinely impressed. – ch

Song: Come On My Side / Rock & Roll
Reviewer: Dave Haddad (CenterPeace)
Positive Comments: Nice blending of sounds. I enjoyed the Rhodes melody with the guitar accompanying. Reminiscent of some 80’s bands but I can’t point out any one band. Good musicians and great song idea. Builds well. Lots of talent in this song.
Constructive Comments: Rhythm tracks are not together… guitar and drums clash from time to time. The delay on the guitar, although I understand that it is part of the actual part, it is too much, way too loud in the mix. Mix should start with the rhythmic foundation first… bass and drums. Here the rhythm guitar is featured a little too much so the instrument relationship is out of balance. There are no lyrics but it asks if I would like to view lyrics. Huh?? Something is distorting on the left side… keyboards possibly. Just need to work on your production… Production is the presentation of your music, you have a lot of distractions in this song which makes listening more difficult. Go for a higher standard than this, even if you are writing only for yourself (which clearly you are not otherwise the song would not be out for public consumption). Best of luck.

Song: Pow Pow Pow Instrumental
Reviewer: Dave Haddad (CenterPeace)
Positive Comments: Cool intro, drums sound good for programmed sounds. Nice recording of the guitar, sounds classic but fresh. Rhythm tracks are also pleasant to listen to. Nice melodies. By the second listen through I was able to hear the arrangement better. A little reminiscent of the 60’s surfer phase so if you were going for that, you mailed it.
Constructive Comments: A ton of reverb on everything but it does create a vibe. The bottom end drops out somewhat at 1:30 then back in again good at about 1:45. I would compress the bass really hard to even out the volume discrepancies. A little awkward transition back to the second verse… sounded like maybe one less bar to get right back into the verse could have worked better but I trust that you tried everything and this worked best. Again at 1:47 a little confusing as when the phrase begins. Little things here and there in the programming but it is what it is. All live tracks would really help this song.
