Reviewer: lost on foot

Positive Comments: really well worked track with a good build, listen with an open mind and you get very easily pulled in to the story which the vocalist sings with belief, A unique voice with great control. choice of tones and sounds were good and i am not a synth user so wouldn’t know if they were presets or not but they all worked together and for the track. I really enjoyed the listen, its well worked and different

Constructive Comments: Just my opinion, was not that keen on the hi hat and would have liked the voice to be a little more on top of the backing – but thats just being picky

Positive Comments: This is an old live recording that if I had to guess (because of the lyric content) is at least 44 years old. It only features vocal and harmonica but is still a very compelling performance. Great job, Chet!

Constructive Comments: No constructive comments. I think the recording holds up. In fact, I love the sound of it.

Constructive Comments: I would have like to hear a second voice come in at some parts.

Positive Comments: Great composition here. At the outset, it’s like Chicago meets Elton John meets theme from the Titanic. Great transitions, incredible mix and overall a very smoothly flowing piece, with very good choice of instruments.

Constructive Comments: The downer here is that this piece badly needs words. That’s why I chose All Through the Years as the title. Sounds like that could be a very good foundation to work from. It could be a killer piece with some good lyrics. Just doesn’t sound like a typical instrumental. Best of luck.

Song: Who’s gonna turn on a light

Reviewer: MGB

Positive Comments: Very well put-together song with a really good message. Love the guitar work here, not only the playing, but the composing as well, and the really strong riff, and just the overall feel of the song. Good job.

Constructive Comments: Only problem here is a slight confusion on lyrics. I thought words at end of chorus were “Who’s gonna tell them they’re crazed”, until I listened several times. But then who understands all the lyrics in a rock song anyway? Good song.

Positive Comments: Here’s a heartfelt praise song bound to make the Jesus-lover smile. The love definitely shines through on this composition. Crystal clear vocals, excellent instrumentation and beautifully recorded. I like the way she uses some words that other Christian songwriters don’t: perplexity, delightful…there are some nice, fresh lyrics in there, something to always look for in this genre. Nice job!

Constructive Comments: One thing stood out as a glaring error to me, and it is a grammatical one that could so easily be fixed. Binded me to your love. It’s BOUND, not binded. Bound would fit just right, I tried it. If it’s not too late, I’d fix that! Great song, otherwise. Keep up the good work!

Positive Comments: What a pleasure to listen to such an excellent guitarist who can make a solo track stand alone beautifully. I totally admire your skills in playing…the rendition was flawless! You must have many years of playing classical guitar under your belt and it shows! Keep up the good work and making this world a more beautiful place with your music. Terrific ending!!! Love the melody and variations.

Constructive Comments: What kind of a guitar are you playing? Just curious. Can’t wait to find out who this is! First time I have ever reviewed Latin music on broadjam. Mrs. Kate

Positive Comments: Rock instrumental that makes you wonder…what is the version with lyrics like? This track reminds me of a wrecked truck. One that gets smashed and smashed again with every blow. The lead guitarist has some amazing licks in there that are extremely impressive. Overall the tone is agitated and angry sounding. I’m sure there is a market out there somewhere for this. Tight band, great vibe!

Constructive Comments: Why is the ending so abrupt? Needs as much attention as the intro and body of the song!
