Positive Comments: The rhythm groove is good. Good keyboard work, I can tell you know what are doing melodically. I think you have the makings of a really nice song.

Constructive Comments: Starts out like a regular song then it kind of gets a bit avant-garde which if it is what you were trying to do then you nailed it. The drums do sort of sound like someone played the sounds on a keyboard and didn’t quite fix the out of time parts. Either way the category is right as experimental. For me it’s not creative enough to be avant-garde. This is not a complete song, it is a groove idea with song jamming over the top. I am sure that you get this, it’s just i apologize but i can’t give this high numbers there is no song structure here it’s only one part. You should at least come up with a B Section… chorus pre, bridge. I know it’ Experimental but you still need more to be taken serious. I think if you develope this idea more and clean up some of the loose groove issue that it could be something really cool.

Positive Comments: I really like the lyrics in this song, there are also moments of great dynamics. The acoustic variation are very cool which makes me really want to hear more of your music. I can imagine this would find a home in a movie for sure, I would love to edit a scene to this music.

Constructive Comments: The guitar came on very strong, and if it came on a playlist to me I may not have made it through the intro. It smoothed out for me and kept me listening but the awkward intensity came in again at what seemed to be the wrong time. At about the 3 min mark you had much better control of your dynamics and that transition seemed to work much better, I would suggest listening to it around that mark and know that you have to build me to a point but don’t blow all of it in the intro.

Positive Comments: Awesome Mississippi Blues groove with all the elements. Outstanding job, fully authentic sound and the performances are convincing. The harmonica was presented just right, a very happy feeling from this song as if it’s a ‘Hoedown’ or something.

Constructive Comments: Key change 1 minute threw me for a loop, then there are glitches in then rhythm tracks. Try your best to fix the little production things because big boys won’t play your song unless without the highest quality recording.

Positive Comments: I like the lyrics and the sylye in which you sing. I hope it does not offend you in saying you have a very Dylan type singing style that I found very cool, and kept me more interested in the song and rhythm of your vocals.

Constructive Comments: Im really not to much of a fan of the Bass in this song. The bass became somewhat distracting to me and overbearing at times. I think I would have been much more focussed to the lyrics of the song if the bass was put back in the song more and a little more easy on all the fills.

Positive Comments: Really creative vibe. I love the horn theme… so much space, you did not force a bunch of notes into your melody, you let the guitar solo do the talking. Super tasty song all the way around. Creative drum programming or it’s someone playing an electronic kit. A real John Bonham sound and feel on the drums, really excellent job… I am digging the sounds. Great guitar playing… choosing all the right places. Pretty jazzy sax solo rocks too. This song has it all, it rocks and has a super stinky groove with lots of space and soul.

Constructive Comments: If the drums are recorded live then that’s one hell of a sound but hey, i’ve got good ears for drums. So that’s gonna be my only comment is I would like to hear real drums and a guy putting his touch on this piece. Your music is so good that I really want to hear better production. I think this song is very marketable… kind of a SRV vibe but not so there is a huge catching point. I know we can only work with what we have but bigger production… real horns and live cats, I think you know, is what is missing. Because I think you could be, should be (in another time bc most popular music today stinks) as big as say Michael Bubble… if I think this is who I think it is, you are an amazing singer too but I may be wrong haha. Either way I dig this tune a lot.

Positive Comments: Great intro, it had me wondering where 1 was for a sec which I always likeNice groove reminiscent of early CSN or many classic roots rock bands. Nice guitar solo, hits some of the changes perfectly. The mix sounds good.

Constructive Comments: Sounds like backing tracks to a vocal song but then the solo happens around 1:30 so it’s probably an instrumental. No strong hook element, mostly the first part of the song in chord changes with the first guitar solo at :38 leading into the keyboard B section, then another solo. Your solos are probably to hook eigh? Maybe explore some guitar theme ideas. Simple melody could be just holding a few notes and make a pattern of when you change rhythmically and you will add =contrast and depth. Little something more for the listeners. You may like it just the way it is, all good. For me it is missing a hook. But then if it’s backingtracks but idt it is then it would be fine.

Positive Comments: Really nice heavy Soul beat, maybe even a bit like D’Angelo? There’s some excellent vocal sound, vocal phrasing and lyrics here. Nice work on the dropouts with acoustic guitar. Instrumentally it’s very strong and complements the tune well. I think this is hit material in the works.

Constructive Comments: The vocals are so over-autotuned–it makes it buzz. Of course some people have a career based on this, eg Jeezy. IMO this removes so much appeal that could be here. The tune is really strong.

Positive Comments: Cool intro with nice changes on the keys–it could be a Luther Vandross thing. And vocals even better. Did you really say “that dick, that stroke?” You just cut out 80% of possible airplay outside of the inner city stations, lol.

Constructive Comments: I feel like this needs more umph despite being really good as is. I think you should break into more than just the muffled kick patch on the chorus. And overall I’d like a real drum kit, although tons of hit tunes have machine grooves. How about a guitar part? It would a depth and complexity. There’s a lot of falling melody on the verses–you need some *up* strokes, so to speak. It would take a lot of thought offer a complete list but the bones of a great tune are here already.
