Constructive Comments: The song needed lyrics as on its own the melody was too repetitive. I cant really give much more comment as feel that there was just a beat and the chorus (I assume) where the guitars come in sounded good, but would like to hear it with lyrics, if you have lyrics for it.

Positive Comments: Exciting rock intro. The subject is dark. Killing Boyfriend, killing neighbors. “There is something dead I need.” Cool drum outtro…I like the way it fades out. Creative subject matter and lyric writing. Passionate performance. Excellent vocal performance.

Constructive Comments: Sometimes it was hard to understand all the words in the lead vocal. I would check the mix to make sure that all lyrics are easy for the listener to understand. It could be an “age thing” as I am 63 and this is not my “familiar genre.” I would have to put a parental advisory on this song. It’s so dark and foreboding. There seems to be an obsession with murder and killing and it saddens my heart to know that this is what you are motivated to write and sing about. I wish I could send some of Jesus’ light and love into your dark moon.

Positive Comments: Heartfelt break-up song, if I understood it correctly. Vocal is passionate – you can almost hear the painful emotions/crying in the performance. Nice intro. Great instrumentation. Sad story. Every relationship does affect us deeply and change our lives, so this song could have a wide appeal.

Constructive Comments: IF ONLY the vocal was a little clearer, I believe your excellent storytelling would be better showcased in this song. That might be accomplished with upping the gain on the vocal a bit. Sounds like you worked really hard on this – nice job and I would definitely like to hear more. You have a beautiful voice and very convincing performance.

Positive Comments: Nice classic rock intro. This song is cute and funny – a story about a rocker meeting Elvis on top of a telephone poll. Considering the Elvis sightings that have happened over the years, this is a great premise for a song, and the chorus is very catchy! The lyrics of the verses are also carefully and cleverly written….tight and fresh rhyming work. Well done! Your song put a smile on my face for sure. Spoken word at the end was a good way to conclude your song. I bet your audiences get a kick out of this one.

Constructive Comments: I’d like to hear the vocal a little more “up” in the mix. Upon the second listen, I caught everything I missed the first time around, so no big deal. You have a great sense of humor and musicality…keep up the good work!Mrs. Kate in Florida

Positive Comments: Really nice sound and guitar work. Pleasure to listen to this piece. Nice job backing off toward the middle, dropping out bass and background instrumentation which gives a nice break to the song. Really nice guitar work! I like the string backing.

Constructive Comments: Hard to find a problem with this presentation. Perhaps a bit long for the recurring melody. I found myself wondering if all the instruments were in synch at times. But again, nice product and enjoyable listening.

Positive Comments: I love use of strings and so this instrumental connects with me. The genre is jazz general, but I think this instrumental could fit in a number of categories. Nice piano and string mix. Interesting bass line works nicely. I am also a fan of mixed genres in music…this does that nicely.

Constructive Comments: Hard to find anything “constructive” to add my above mentioned comments. I might be looking for a surprise bridge in the piece to help break up a repeating theme a bit. I’m searching, however. Other than that, nicely done!

Constructive Comments: The second half dragged a little, maybe shorten the verses a bit. The sound of your voice on the chorus is amazing, so i would play that as much as you could. It will be awesome with some drums and produuction.

Beautiful strings, eloquence, lush, longing – are all words that came to mind while listening to this piece of craftsmanship. The soundtrack takes me to perhaps a sunrise over the Serengeti perhaps. Beautiful.
