Positive Comments: Simply put, I liked listening to this song. Quality music, quality vocal. And a pretty nice hook. The song never lets up or disappoints as it goes on…and it didn’t go too long. Nicely tucked and arranged. Nice touch with the organ at the end and the surprising but effective ending. Nicely done!

Constructive Comments: Can’t think of any improvements. Well done.

Positive Comments: The vocal kind of reminds me of the Steve Miller Band. Sometimes it sound like Steve singing. The arrangement is nice and I like the answering harmonies at 13 sec. Really good pre-chorus at 0:36 sec. This song has a lot of potential. I especially like the short intro.

Constructive Comments: I think the pre-chorus at 0:36 sec would sound best right before the chorus at 1:10 sec. Then the guitar hook after the chorus before the new verse. Currently the chorus seems to come in when you don’t expect it, after a guitar break. I guess it is all a matter of taste but I think of building the structure so there is a payoff and the listener knows it’s coming. Overall I think the mix needs a little more balancing. The vocal sounds a little too out front. Mix has a mid-range sound which could be OK for going for the classic rock sound of the 70’s but I think you can still get that but adding a little edge with some EQ. I listened in my studio. Hope this helps.

Positive Comments: Diggin the guitar chunk and the vox are deliciously dark. Moody groove and theme – film score material. Some tasty fills. Interesting arrangement, pleasantly surprised me. Def some very cool and interesting things in field of sound. Female vox also jump in to drive this to another star-ular level. This tune has brought me through a very strange, tantalizing, and satisfying journey. The outro and ending…fantstic.

Constructive Comments: Every thing works in this tune. Not just more of the same. A class of its own. WOW gotta listen back to make sure my ears and senses get the full effect again. WOW yes you are…A Rising Star. Love this one… other worldly.

Positive Comments: This is a clever arrangement wrapped around a pretty good tune. I can hear this in something like a movie. It definitely has that type of quality. A quirkiness about it. Drums remind me of Adam Ant. Overall mix is good but with some adjustments. See my recommendation below. Nice one!

Constructive Comments: Vocal is too loud with too much reverb. There is a cool vibe going on in the backing track and I want to hear it. The drums especially. In fact at 2:44 the vocals distort. Have to fix that I think. If I had this in my studio, I would get the rhythm track sounding nice and fat with a wide stereo spread then lay the vocal in there. There is a ton of space in this. You will not have to worry too much about frequencies clashing. Just have to balance it.

Positive Comments: Very good job with this! I like the instrumentation. Great stereo spread as I’m constantly reviewing songs recommending more spread and hard panning. No problem here. Good vocal performance. Really nice chorus. Hey, I listened three times! Great ending too.

Constructive Comments: Like I said, I listened 3 times. The first pass I didn’t like the beginning. Now I sort of do. However, I would go a little longer and do a fast fade. No dead space. It is too cool to be over so fast. You don’t have to worry about a too long intro because this intro is interesting and locks you in. I listened in my studio. I felt the vocal a little too out front in some of the quieter parts. Maybe just my taste.

Positive Comments: There are over 110,000 members on Broadjam and I this is my second time reviewing one of your songs. How does that happen? Here is the good news. Your sound is so unique I recognized it right away. I think this good song and arrangement. The vocals definitely make it different. I could cover this song. Not the way it is here but you would recognize it because the core is very good. Has a hidden Beatles vibe. Ending is Fab…

Constructive Comments: I think you can go with this song as is. However, I would like to hear a more straight, conventional version with a different vocal. The off color instruments could stay but only made bigger. I listened to this twice. The chorus is great. The beginning of the song with the loud drum doesn’t belong because it never returns later in the song. It sort of sound like it was an after thought.

Constructive Comments: There is not a lot I could add to this one. I could hear this on a number of tv or movie spots. Because it has no words it goes even farther fitting in to a lot of scenarios.I am interested in where you are getting those space sounds from————–they are very effective in the music. Thanks for being a member and keep up the good work!Catnip
