Constructive Comments: Don’t think I can help much with this one. Spot on. I will be looking to hear this somewhere, sometime. It has good character and is a little different than the general tune we seem to hear these days.Good Luck with Your Music and Thanks for being a member of Broadjam! catnip

Positive Comments: like the beginning, building up and building up, guitar sounds pleasant. nice mix of strings with everything else. I could hear this song in a mystery movie where something wonderful is happening to the character.

Constructive Comments: As far as a mood setting, this is a winner. It could be used in part for a cue to many tv or movie scenes. There are parts of it, especially at first, that seem a little too loud, but this is easily fixed with a new mix.Overall, I think it would fit into a variety of musical clips.Thank You for being a part of Broadjam and,Good Luck with Your Music! catnip

Positive Comments: Like the vocal. Good guitar work. This could go country, folk or pop. Depends on the arrangements. Moves along very nicely. Great atmosphere to the tune. While I don’t think lyrics are going to yield a hit, they generate good images and are something I haven’t heard much at all before.

Constructive Comments: The last line, the hook, is very good, but I couldn’t really say I remember too much more of the chorus. I think this is one of those songs that could use a bridge with a contrast. Melody and lyric wise, to set off the verse and chorus better.

Positive Comments: If you enjoy Blink-182, you will certainly enjoy this song. Well produced, great hook and the very typical (very well done) harmonies that you expect from them. The intro (that also comes back halfway and at the end) is very nice and well playedSubtle keys behind the guitars, it’s all there…

Constructive Comments: I had trouble finding fault in this song. But I can say I’m not overly charmed by the modulation at the end, the vocals now become very high and uncomfortable for me.Otherwise, very well done!

Positive Comments: It’s a strange instrumental, I find it more on the sophisticated pop side than under the jazz tag. The instrumentation is very midi. There are interesting bits, anyway. There’s a persistent slap bass and a very percussive rhythmic arrangement. The structure is not clear to me too. I have the subjective feeling that it’s a bit overlong.

Constructive Comments: Generally, I don’t like the sound of the instrumentation, aside the tom tom’s or whatever they are, and the slap bass – the structure. I think the arrangement it’s strange. At least it’s not so predictable. The structure puzzles me too. It seems to be an alternation between a piano section and a synth strings section, but there are slight differences each time they repeat, making it a disorienting listening experience [for me]. A bit long, probably.

Positive Comments: This is upper cool and moody. reminds me (in a good way) of like Santana meets Alan Parson’s project. The guitars are well records and played beautifully. I really enjoy hearing guitar music in a world where programmed tracks are now the norm. The synth space echo sounds are very cool, this track is very cinematic and well arranged.

Constructive Comments: The drum sound is incongruous with the tones on the guitars…and the drum performance (programmed maybe?) is rather stiff against the lead guitar (which is constantly moving ahead and behind the beat). The guitar is pushing and pulling the track, and the drums don’t swing with it like I would hope they would

Positive Comments: This is SUPER hip and modern sounding. Compelling vocal with very nice alterations in the phrasing throughout the verses. Guitar is hard to mix into modern tracks in 2017, but here you do it perfectly – reminds me (in a good way) of DNCE. The hook is strong – I can sing it back after just one listen, and this is the highest compliment I can give.

Constructive Comments: I think that a little bit of greater contrast in the chorus section from the verse could help the hook to stand out more, but really I am being super nit-picky as this is one of the most commercial and well done tracks I have heard on Broadjam. I do think that mixing the vocal with a little more compression and a slight boost on her voice in the 2K range while adding a touch more room sound to her would let you lower her in the mix just a touch to give a little more glue to the mix…but really minor point – this song is GREAT!!!

One & Only Lonely One by Jeff Ashbaker

Positive Comments: Lot to like about this tune. Catchy, easy to grasp on first listen. Vocal good (with exception noted below). Well produced demo. There is good potential in this song, one of the few I’ve given a 5 for market potential. See below. I think with some change this could get a good hearing.

Constructive Comments: “right to cry” segment of vocal a bit off. The bridge didn’t seem to add to the tune. I like the verse and chorus much better. Since this music segment appears 3 times, it may not be a bridge, but sounds much like a bridge (going over to contrasting minor chords, etc.). If it is the chorus, not sure it lifts the song or gives the punch needed.

Positive Comments: You like the band Asia as they were in the eighties? You’ll love this! Keyboard driven instrumental rock. Melodies set by the organ and backed by synth and (simulated) rock guitars. Love he whole buildup of the song, intro, verse, tension building, bridge, more tension building and a grand finale!

Constructive Comments: Please check your source file, there is an error on second 17, maybe during the upload (first went to check my cables, but then I heard it again during the replays. As a guitarist I would have loved to hear some real guitar (though the simulation is good!). I wouldn’t mind doing it myself heheheheThe electronic bass and drums work great though
