Positive Comments: Clever lyrics and instrumentation. I listen this category a lot and it is a strong category. This song measures up nicely. Pretty good vocal and melody.

Constructive Comments: I think the recording clarity could be better. Not sure what is happening because is sound like all the tracks are there. Maybe a new mix?

Reviewer: Gladstone Avenue

Positive Comments: I choose this category because I always hear some fine work. This song is no exception. Nicely vocalized and recorded. The vocal is a bit different from the usual country sound…nice to hear a little different voice. Like the hook, too. This is such a well done production with a pretty decent melody and lyrical accomplishment.

Constructive Comments: Can’t really complain about anything. I enjoyed the entire song and it was a pleasure bring the quality of the recording. Well done.

Positive Comments: This is in the wrong category but it’s cool. Lot’s of ominous sound and textures with plenty of variety throughout. I can see Xena in a nice leather teddy slaying heathen warlords to this.

Constructive Comments: Nothing really. It’s very solid, and not an area I know that well.

Song: Roll Out

Reviewer: Floyd Kelly

Positive Comments: This is the kind of music I like to play on Friday nights when it’s really late and I’m in the mood to take some very dramatic selfies to send to my BFF. Our cheerleading squad at school would like this for our power sessions. I’m listening to this while I watch my burrito go around and around in the microwave – it’s trippy.

Constructive Comments: This has a lot of cool electronic effects and this is very electronica. There may be some media uses for this as far as marketability however, in a very narrow niche. I think more musicality is needed in the composition of this piece to be more meaningful. A decent job on the mixing! Have a good day.

Constructive Comments: At the beginning, the pad leads the listener to the electronic genre instead of New Age. The ending was abrupt. Mom said she liked this when we played it. Have a good day.

Positive Comments: The pink hippie volkswagen caravan is rolling through the desert, heading to the Burning Man festival – everybody’s a drummin’, a bongoin’, a wah wah wey oh-in’ and long hair is flying in the wind and big flower patches are ironed with lots of starch on bell-bottom jeans.

Constructive Comments: This is very unusual especially for the New Age genre – I classified this as World. I don’t know the lyrics and so I graded this on sound components. I’m not sure all the instrumental choices work – but that is just my ear only. I do like the Arabian motif. The orchestra hit became repetitive and quite noticeable and took away from the motif. Please remember, until now we have never heard this we don’t know who made this or where it comes from. Have a good day.

Positive Comments: This is a beautiful musical I found in the New Age genre. It reminds me of walking through lush green fields somewhere pondering enjoying the breeze of freedom against my face as the sun sets in a beautiful glory.

Constructive Comments: This is nicely present. I think the piano may be slightly muddy. The synth strings could have used some dynamics to create a more ebb and flow. I like the ambience. About three-quarters of the way through, my musical ear was wanting a pause of some kind with the synth strings – just to give a relaxing break. We enjoyed listening. Have a great day.
