Song: Gone

Positive Comments: Here’s a sad song about betrayal and divorce. Performance is heartfelt and convincing, a real tear-jerker. 5 star instrumentation and production. I especially like that Celtic fiddle intro. Best lyric: worthwhile stone-cold betrayals, lies and tall tales, lawyer’s papers to file…That’s some really good, original writing there.

Constructive Comments: I think the verse cited above is your strongest and easiest to understand. If all the verses were as “killer” as that one, this song would be more amazing. Good job, and I hope to hear more of your work.Mrs. Kate in FL

Song: A Train Ride to Hell

Reviewer: Kate Carpenter

Positive Comments: Creative, strong introduction. I like the train sound…it sounds very real and raw. This is a hard rock song about going to hell. The artists portrayed this in a very realistic, dark, energetic and angry-sounding way, which, I am sure, was their intention. The hook is memorable and the performance is very convincing.

Constructive Comments: This song made me so sad. Hell is a very real place and I don’t think you really want to go there. I couldn’t make out all the lyrics, but it sounds like you said something about “get down on your knees and pray” which might be a good idea. From what I know about God and Jesus from the bible, He is our only hope. I received forgiveness from Jesus for my sins, and I am glad He saved me from hell, or I’d be singing right along with you. From a recording standpoint, I would bring up the vocal in the mix. It was so hard to make out all the lyrics.

Positive Comments: I like the hard driving sound of the rhythm guitar and the lead guitar as well – sounds a little like Thin Lizzy.

Constructive Comments: Good sounding song however, it is very hard to understand the words. So, I really think that needs some work – I almost think this song would actually sound better as an instrumental with maybe just a few shouts sprinkled here and there – best wishes!

Positive Comments: Nice slinky little guitar groove with a very nice tone, sort of Mark Knopfler if he got a little funky.

Constructive Comments: I have only one issue and that is for a 4 minute song I’d like to hear some change up of instrumentation … IOW … not necessarily a guitar lead the entire time, and maybe a more developed melody with some variation. Maybe horns, keyboards, even the basic groove or a dramatic chord change … something to make it go BAM.

Positive Comments: Magnificent,Glorious, Joyous, this is an inspiring song, sung by a very professional vocalist. From start to finish the composition shines and glows. The arrangement and the backing is first class as is the engineering and I have enjoyed it so much I am going to listen to it again.

Constructive Comments: I don’t really have much more to add except to say the song will do very well, it will become an “Evergreen” and will be picked up by church choirs all over the world. I’ve just had another listen to the track and I think I recognise the vocalist so enough said, It’s a WINNER.
