Song: The Way You Make Me Smile

Positive Comments: Your song was good. The originality of the song really stood out. This sounds like it is off of an older Amy Grant album. Your timber (the unique sound of your voice) is really good and has a nice attraction, pull to it. The arrangement was great and your chord progression was excellent. Your lyrics were very tender.

Constructive Comments: I believe your weakest area is your mixing. It was to soft and some of the instruments and your vocals were not loud enough. I think maybe some of the technical aspects could improve this song dramatically.

Positive Comments: unique voice. Your voice has a unique timber. good song good message. Really nice chord progression. Good effects on the voice. keep it up.

Constructive Comments: I wanted to here a stronger drum set. and here the music turned up a little bit more. The mix had your voice being so dominant. It was really good, I just think the instrumentation should have been a little bit louder.

Positive Comments: Excellent recording, vocals, production, arrangement. professional sounding. I have not reviewed in a while and I was blown away at how profession this was. The only thing I could judge was my enjoyment from the song. It was pretty and done well. Professional and perfect.

Constructive Comments: The only thing that I can say that may help for the future would be to develop the song for more of a build or catchy turnaround hook. Because the luminos part was frequented so often it satisfies you or does not have the addiction that you want the song to have.

Reviewer: Randal Dunkle

Positive Comments: Beautiful voice, really like the sound of the drums as well. Very cool guitar in the background.

Constructive Comments: I think the song sounds really professional – one thing though: the vocals blend in too much with the keyboards and guitar and it makes the vocals hard to understand – I would change the frequency of the instruments that should take care of the problem.

Positive Comments: Great vibe.

Constructive Comments: Lyrics could have been more out front. I’m gonna get subjective, but that doesn’t mean I’m right. Lead vocals, just my opinion, should have been grittier. There was more of a pop element to this than I personally would have liked to hear.
