Positive Comments: “Whiskey” voicing was perfect for this song. The guitars played well one complementing the other. You chose an appropriate, driving tempo (i.e.. not too fast) for this recording. Guitars were well played. You (“guys”) know what you’re doing.

Constructive Comments: To my ear, the vocal mix could be “backed off” a bit. I wanted to hear more instrumentation it provided such great fill. My ear also wanted to hear a stronger bass line (or was it absent).

Positive Comments: Nice dynamic mix of bass, percussion, and keys which let the lead guitar voice be dominant with out being over done. Recording quality was very good all of the instrumentation came across clearly. The lead guitar was well played, with nice effect.

Constructive Comments: This is a nice piece, and the only possible change would be to try adding a simple lyric and melody line to attract a larger audience.

Positive Comments: Nice “driving” guitar riff and beat. Putting the right lyrics to this tune could make a great country blues song. The instrumental was a good length, so the riff didn’t become monotonous. Nice sounding guitar, well played. Well done!

Constructive Comments: Obviously the guitar is the front instrument, but my ear would like a little more bass and percussion mix. The cymbal did not come through cleanly on the mix in my system (I assume it was sampled) and became a minor distraction. As I said above this is a great tune that could be improved with some good lyrics and melody.

Positive Comments: Suave love ballad that feels bathed in spirituality, sang by a voice that can aptly be described as precious, with beautiful harmonies during the refrain/hook – which particularly reveals their beauty, and the beauty of the melody, when the – also very good – piano stops. In fact, I think this style is mainly about beauty, not a merely aesthetical beauty, but a small personal universe of beautiful, hopeful, luminous feelings.

Constructive Comments: I like it better than the widow song.

Positive Comments: The recording seems clean.

Constructive Comments: I think there’s some timing issues.. the Hi Hat seems to be going faster than the guitars and bass. If that could be fixed, this would sound pretty good. Also, I personally think you have quite a few very active guitars competing with each other, perhaps if you spread them out more (panning) they wouldn’t compete so much. One of the guitars recorded could be played a bit cleaner in regards to the chord switchingI think the drums could be a lot louder in this mix, except for the hi hat which is the probably the loudest component in the mix.

Positive Comments: Nice Vocals! Love the BGVS here also, good harmony lines. Recording sounds clean. Reminds me a bit of Carlos Santana without the guitar in it. That Nylon Guitar was on point.

Constructive Comments: Love the arrangement.. Perhaps a difference in dynamics between verses and the hook as far as mix goes, just to give it more energy in the hooks. Perhaps, less active congas in the verse, and then have it come full rhythm in the chorus parts. I think that the drums could be a bit punchier to give a bit more life. Overall, great song.

Rocking around the Christmas tree by George Molden

Positive Comments: I love this version of the song. The jazzy/R&B rhythm gives this song a different flare. Your instrumentation was great…instrument choices were spot on. I like what you were trying to accomplish with this song. I know it’s well after Christmas, but I really like this nevertheless.

Constructive Comments: The vocals need to be fine tuned. I can tell that you were really concentrating on remembering the words and getting them right. This usually happens when you’re truly not comfortable with what you are doing. Trust me…I know first hand. Some of the vocals were off time with the music as well. My suggestion would be to relax. Listen to the instrumental…begin to feel the music…experience it. When that happens, you become one with the music and everything flows wonderfully. The piece could use a little remixing as well, but for the most part, this is quite enjoyable. Keep producing and keep creating!

Positive Comments: Very beautiful lead vocals and great instrumentation, I like how the guitar blends together with the flute.

Positive Comments: The song has a Tom Petty, Roger McGuinn/The Birds and several other artists, that I can’t recall off had, but extremely interesting and original! I think that the settings for the mics…the vocals & instruments, could be a tad clearer, but perhaps that’s what the artist was going for.

Constructive Comments: Just my comment regarding the recording technique for the song……..
