Positive Comments: This is a very relaxing song to listen to. It has a nice calm feeling to it. I would say submit for TV or film where they need background music without lyrics. Nice song!I like the changing theme going on, but not too much of a change. It gives the song some flow and forward movement. Thank you for the song.

Constructive Comments: This is not avant-garde, but more like easy-listening music. I would suggest trying to tweak the sound of the instruments on your keyboard so that they don’t sound like they are instruments played form your keyboard. That is, if you want a little more depth to the instrumentation. Because otherwise they sound too generic. Play around a bit with the panning of the instruments too. Everything sort of sounded very center, and you can also get more depth with the mix if you pan your tracks wider.

Positive Comments: Tune has a lilting , drifting quality to it, like being adrift on the ocean, guitar playing is very tasty. Reminiscent of new age version of Pink Floyd, well except for the quote from ” Within You Without You “

Constructive Comments: Playing is good, recording is good, overall compositional development is structurally a little weak, drums are a little static, snare a little loud. … overall though this is quite good and with a real band could become pretty powerful. And I’d can the audience noise, it sounds fake , unless it’s a real audience, in which case … sorry.

Positive Comments: I like the groove. Tight rhythm section.

Constructive Comments: This seems more like a jam session than a tune. Could use a more defined melody. The bass line is fine, but the whole tune just seems to stay in the same place. The solos and the rhythm section blend together and the solos get lost, I’d try to separate them more and maybe EQ them differently. Also, back off a bit on the effects so the different instruments can have their own voice. Finally, add a bridge to break up the vamp and give the listener a little surprise.

Positive Comments: George Strait. Beautiful piano work…really sets the mood.I liked the change in vocal pitch in the bridge.

Constructive Comments: Lyrics seemed a little dry..you know..sort of common…this guy could really search his heart and come up with a different way of saying this fairly common story…it’s good, but I think he could say it different and really have a hit. As a songwriter myself,I am well aware of how hard this is to do. Think of George when he sung, “I cross my heart”..sometimes one line can say more than ten.
