Positive Comments: Really nice vocal and a clear representation of the lyrics, so often lost in many songs here on B-Jam. Nicely recorded guitar. Really like the song, the vocal and the production. Just well done!

Constructive Comments: Only possible objection is that the song is a bit long. Not for me, but for many listeners. But I like the flow and would personally not edit the song.

Positive Comments: Very 80’s style pop rock maybe similar to Bryan Adams, love the movement into the chorus.

Constructive Comments: Bass could stand some punch, might cut the return to the intro riff right before the solo. This is good, only other issue might be that the entire mix is a little thin, it should go Bwoooof , when those big power chords hit you in the gut, close but not quite there. It could be part mix but also part the articulation of the chords.

Positive Comments: I get the intention of the song as being inspiring for religious concerns, and I appreciate that. The overall sound of the instrumentation appears to me that you are intending to sound driven and inspired with your message. But to do that, make your instrument parts inspiring and not extravagant or trying to be extremely unique. Thank you for the song.

Constructive Comments: The drum track tells me that you used either a drum machine or drums on a keyboard. Drummers don’t normally play the way you programmed the part. I would say change the drum part. It sounds like the drummer is trying to be like Keith Moon for a Religious Rock song.And if you are going to do that, then the guitars should be more like the Who as well. The lyrics are very week and not impressive. They are pretty flat in enthusiasm and punch. I would also say replace the vocals with someone who can sing better. Sorry, just my real opinion. Not that I am a vocalist either, because I am not!If you are going to submit this for licensing, then you will also need to fix the mix.

Positive Comments: The synchronization of the song is very together with all of the instruments. Tempo is consistent. I appreciate the effort put into this song. I’m guessing it was all done on a keyboard. The synth sounds are pretty cool, although the lead synth I would tone down a bit as far as volume. Make it not so out-front, so that we can actually hear the lyrics, which should be the main focus, rather than the lead synth. Thank you for the song.

Constructive Comments: The vocals sound like you have pitch correction turned on, which I know a lot of artists choose to do this, but my feeling is instead of doing that, just use a vocalist who can actually hold pitch. The quality of the sound of the song sounds overly compresses, and almost as if it was intended to sound like all tracks are phase shifted. This is not the type of song that I would normally listen in its entirety, but I did for the sake of reviewing. If I were a judge at a song contest, I would immediately say, within the first 30 seconds, to stop playing the song and try again.
